REPORT ON WORKSHOP ON CYBER SECURITY AND ONLINE SAFETY – 28th June 2025

CRPF Public School, Rohini, organized an Awareness Workshop on Cyber Security and Online Safety for the teaching and non-teaching staff. The session aimed at sensitizing the staff to the growing threats in the digital world and equipping them with essential tools to stay safe online.

The resource person for the workshop was Sh.  Bhoopendra, Sub Inspector from PS Cyber, Rohini, who has been serving in the Delhi Police since 2019 and has over three years of experience in handling cybercrime cases.

In his interactive and informative session, he highlighted the various types of online scams, digital frauds, and data thefts that individuals can fall prey to, often unknowingly. He shared practical tips on how to stay vigilant and safeguard personal data

Sh. Bhoopendra, specifically spoke about the importance of securing WhatsApp with a password or two-step verification to prevent unauthorized access. 

The session concluded with a strong message on the importance of digital awareness and safe online practices in today’s tech-driven world.
