Paryatn Parv (Dekho Apna Desh)


Paryatn Parv was celebrated by the Primary Department on 27.9.18. Students represented people of different states in colourful traditional dresses. They spoke about the culture and traditions of different states like Punjab, Haryana, Orisha, Kerala etc. Children had a glimpse into the vibrant culture of India.








STORY TELLING SESSION BY A GRANDPARENT



On 24.09.18 a story telling session was organized by the Primary Department for class III students. The grandparent of a student was invited for the same. She narrated stories and the students were engrossed and spell bound by her stories.
This activity was initiated to inculcate values and respect towards elders and grandparents.




"Shramdaan” in CRPF Public School



In order to further the cause of "Swacchata hi Sewa Hai" C.R.P.F. Public School, Rohini organized shramdaan within the school's premises. More than 40 students were involved in cleaning of the school tennis ground and maintenance of the same. Under the guidance of the Principal, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary, the event was a resounding success. 
The students were made aware about the importance of manual labor and the dignity of the same in ensuring a better and a healthier country.





“Hindi Diwas” Celebration



Hindi was declared as the Official Language (Rajbhasha) of India on 14 September 1949 that is why this day is celebrated as Hindi Diwas since 1953.
 On this day a small Hindi quiz was organized by the Hindi Department in which, each and every Hostel students participated enthusiastically. For every correct answer chocolates were awarded by the Department Head Mrs. Anju Dwivedi.  
Students were also briefed about the importance of this day and language as well.







WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS ON FINANCIAL GUIDANCE & PLANNING


A workshop on ‘Financial Guidance & Planning’ was organized on 11 Sep 18 for the staff members. The workshop commenced with the welcome of the guest speakers by Principal Ma’am.
The guest speaker Mr. Rajesh Bhatia, certified financial planner, elaborated upon the four pillars of  investment, the need for bifurcating funds and various investments options available for meeting  individual financial goals.
The second speaker Mr. Sumit Lal ,a practicing charted accountant ,enlightened the staff about ways in which income tax saving can be optimized. He also threw light upon common mistakes committed while filing income tax return.
The third speaker Mr. Ram kishore Gupta, Manager Allahabad Bank, along with his team members elaborated upon the various financial schemes available at the bank.
It was a great session which gave an insight into various ways of wise money management.








TREE PLANTATION DRIVE ON 8 September 2018

We have not inherited the earth from our ancestors; we have borrowed it from our future generations.  The need of the hour is to save the planet.  Keeping the paramount, relevance of the same in mind, CRPF Public School, Rohini, Delhi launched a Tree Plantation Drive on 8/9/2018, flagged off by the Principal Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary, the plantation drive was a resounding success.    More than 30-35 tree saplings were planted along the school’s boundary and school’s ground.  A plethora of different kind of trees was planted.  Trees, such as, Ashoka, Banyan, Jammun, Neem, Ficus and Imli were planted.  The students of classes VI-XII were a part of making the plantation drive successful.  Most of the staff members participated in the drive to motivate the students to plant more and more trees and to help in keeping the environment green and pollution free.








Writing postcards to Prime Minister Sept 13, 2018




Students of class V wrote postcards to Prime Minister regarding activities on campaign ‘Swachhata Hi Sewa’. Children penned down the activities they participated in school which included special assembly on ‘Cleanliness is Godliness’, making posters and writing slogans and rally to propagate the message of Swachh Bharat mission in city. They also wrote about their efforts in segregating waste in three separate bins- recyclable, biodegradable and others. Learners took a pledge that they would avoid using plastic and would start using fabric bags.










Special assembly of' Swacch Bharat Pakhwada' by Pre Primary

Pre Primary department organized cleanliness drive under 'Swachh Bharat Pakhwada'. A special assembly was organized  on 7.9.2018 wherein  Principal of the school,Mrs.Nidhi Chaudhary administered the pledge to children of Classes KG to II for 'Clean India,Green India'.The students took the pledge that they will keep their class,school and surroundings clean; they will say' no to plastic bags';will segregate dry and wet waste ;will not litter around and will always throw trash in the dustbin.A street play was presented by  the students of Class 2 to reinforce the above message.Throughout the day,lot of activities were taken up like teaching children the correct way of washing hands and trimming of nails.Spreading awareness on importance of maintaining cleanliness through short clippings on the smartboard and recitation of poems on the same was done by students.Poster making competition was also organized on the theme' Swaach Bharat' .Children made beautiful paintings and wrote meaningful slogans.










Rally of primary department Swachh Bharat Pakwada


Primary Department of CRPF Public School, Rohini conducted an awareness March during “ Swachch Bharat Pakwada” programme on 10th September , 2018 near the school vicinity with banners and thought provoking slogans. 
Children of class V were accompanied by their teachers. The rally was a great success.
