Inter School Debate Competition -- RESULT

Two students Sasha Agarwal and Pragya (class 10 E) from our school participated in the inter school debate competition held at Apeejay Public School, Pitam Pura and bagged the SECOND POSITION. It was a competition as a part of literary week in the school. There were total 18 teams in the competition! The topic was CWG HASN’T ENHANCED INDIA IMAGE. Sasha was against the topic n pragya for the topic. The judges included eminent professors from Hindu College and IP University. 1st prize was bagged by Indrapashtha School and third prize by Lancers Convent.

We are happily and proudly posting about these talented guns of our school. We hope to have more such opportunities when we can post about such young achievers...

CRPF School did it - Mahindra Youth Football Challenge Delhi Champions

Mukesh Kumar continued his dazzling form for CRPF Rohini, scoring two goals, one the match winner in a closely contested final to help his school down Air Force, Subroto Park and lift the title in the Delhi Region final of the Mahindra Youth Football Challenge Under-14 All-India Schools Football Tournament. 


In the title round played at the Ganga International School, CRPF and Air Force were tied 1-1 at the end of regulation time, before Mukesh got the winner in extra time.

It was Mukesh who gave CRPF the lead in the first half, which was then equalized by Vijay Kumar of Air Force in the 2nd half. However, the brilliance of Mukesh Kumar could not be thwarted for long and he got the match winner in extra time, taking his tournament tally of goals to 13 from five matches. He was later adjudged the ‘Player of Tournament’. 



The winners took home Rs 30,000, while the runner-up side and third placed winner won Rs 20,000 and 15,000 respectively.

The match to determine the third place saw another close match between Govt. School, Sec 11, Rohini and Modern School B.K. Road which was decided on penalties. After the teams were tied 1-1 at the end of full time, Modern School emerged 4-2 winners after the tie-breaker.
Final Result: C.R.P.F Rohini 2 (Mukesh Kumar 2) bt Air Force, Subroto Park 1 (Vijay Kumar).
3rd place: Modern School bt Govt. School 4-2 via tie-breaker.
