CRPF Public School, Rohini, solemnly observed the 76th Martyrs Day on January 30, 2024, to pay homage to the Father of our Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The day commenced with the screening of Richard Attenborough's movie 'Gandhi' for the students of the humanities stream. The entire school participated in a two-minute silence, a poignant tribute to the great leader. Following the silence, the choir group soulfully sang the Ram Bhajan, "Raghu Pati Raghav Raja Ram." The Vice Principal, Mrs. Beena Sri Kumar, delivered a brief speech underscoring the profound significance of the day, reinforcing the values Gandhiji stood for.





Pariksha Pe Charcha, a visionary initiative led by Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, aimed at alleviating examination-related stress among students nationwide. The event unfolded on 29th Jan 2024 in New Delhi, bringing together schools from various corners of India, including  Andhra Pradesh, Leh-Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar, Kerala, Kashmir, Odisha, and Gujarat.

This impactful two-hour session, broadcasted globally, witnessed students of CRPF Public School, Rohini, engrossed in the live telecast. Shri Narendra Modi engaged in a comprehensive dialogue with students, parents, and teachers, addressing a spectrum of exam-related issues.

The Prime Minister offered insightful solutions to combat stress, touching on topics ranging from success and failure, aspirations, and technology to challenges, time management, and stream selection. Notably, he provided valuable advice on dealing with hostel life and encouraged students to dream big without losing perspective.

Addressing the issue of peer pressure, Shri Modi emphasized resilience, asserting that exams are a familiar part of life's journey, and the students are "exam-proof." He encouraged students to not succumb to stress and instead focus on their individual development.

In a congenial manner, the Prime Minister patiently answered students' questions and underscored the role of parents in motivating and supporting their children's aspirations. He stated, "Take interest, encourage, and motivate your wards to make their mark on the world."

The Republic Day Celebration Assembly at C.R.P.F Public School, Rohini was a vibrant and patriotic event, organised by Shrum House was marked by a sequence of activities that instilled a deep sense of national pride among students and staff. The day commenced with the melodious rendition of the national song “Vande Matram” filling the air with an aura of patriotism.

The highlight of the morning was the solemn Flag Unfurling ceremony by our respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary, symbolizing the values enshrined in our Constitution. 

Following the flag unfurling , the school echoed with the resonant strains of the National Anthem, with students singing in unison, their hearts swelling with pride. This collective expression of devotion set the tone for the day's festivities.

The cultural program featured sharing of insightful thoughts on the significance of Republic Day and duties as responsible students in the form of a speech by Abhaya Narayan of class 7C followed by a Patriotic Poem, passionately recited by Sakshi of class 8-B capturing the essence of unity and diversity that defines our great nation. A Patriotic Song by our Melodious Mozarts further intensified the patriotic fervor, filling the school grounds with a sense of solidarity and national identity.

The speech by our respected Principal Ma'am was a stirring address where she highlighted the importance of upholding democratic principles, fostering inclusivity, and contributing positively to society.

As a poignant addition to the event, National Voters Day was observed where the students and staff took the National Voters Day Pledge, reinforcing their commitment to participate actively in the democratic process and uphold the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

In the end, we thank our Principal ma'am for her unending support and encouragement because of whom the celebration culminated into a harmonious blend of tradition, culture, and patriotism.




Celebrating Mathematical Excellence!

Two brilliant minds, Daksh Dev class 10A and Neel Shawran class 10E, have soared to success in the Āryabhaṭa Ganit Challenge 2023, clinching a coveted spot among the top 100 students in Delhi West Zone.

A heartfelt thank you to our Principal, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary, for her steadfast support, and a special shoutout to our outstanding student winners, Daksh and Neel. Kudos to the entire Mathematics Department for their unwavering dedication and guidance.

The Central Board of Secondary Education's press release underscores the significance of the Āryabhaṭa Ganit Challenge, promoting problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking. This year witnessed a massive participation of 5,50,000 students from 5050 schools at the school level and 8,590 students at the national level. The commitment to fostering mathematical proficiency is commendable, and we extend congratulations to all participants, schools, and especially to Daksh Dev and Neel Shawran for making us exceptionally proud!





Positive Parenting and Graphology

On January 20, 2024, a vibrant workshop on Positive Parenting and Graphology was conducted for parents and students of Class 9 in association with Times Of India-NIE.

The morning commenced with warmth and delight as parents, educators and students gathered to embark on the journey of positive parenting. The key message resonated: success in parenting is not merely measured by outcomes but by the effort, patience, and understanding invested in nurturing healthy and thriving relationships with children.

The workshop was graced by the presence of Mrs. Astha Kalra, a distinguished personality and renowned graphologist. With years of experience in decoding human behaviour through handwriting analysis, Mrs. Kalra has been empowering individuals and families with her expertise.

The Principal, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary, marked the significance of the workshop by presenting Mrs. Kalra with a sapling and sharing her valuable insights on positive parenting.

Mrs Astha Kalra, in her vivacious and zealous manner, guided parents on the intricacies of positive parenting and the role of graphology in understanding and enhancing relationships. The session proved insightful, providing practical tips for fostering a nurturing environment at home. She also gave individual attention to a few parents and students and solved their queries.

The question-and-answer session with the parents was quite fruitful.

The students of Class 9 actively participated, gaining valuable insights into the importance of communication and understanding within their families. The workshop left both parents and students enlightened and motivated to apply these principles in their daily lives.










English Department of CRPF PUBLIC SCHOOL, Rohini organised LIT FEST,  an event that celebrates literature and books.

The 2 day long extravaganza begun with the event, SERENE SERENADES, where the students picked out and performed, in teams, on songs based on literary masterpieces.

 The PAGEANT OF THE PAGES brought the literary characters alive on the stage as our students enacted characters from famous children's books.

 WRITING PIXIE gave the students an opportunity to come forward and delve in the rhythmic world of poetry where they composed and presented poem on the spot on the given topics

The judges were mesmerised by the performance of the students and praised them for their ingenuity.

Day 2 witnessed *QUIZ-A-THON, where 5 teams, namely

2. Literary Lions

3. Page Turner Titans

4. Novel Navigators

5. Fiction Fanatics*

fought it out in a Literature based quiz.

An AUTHOR SOUK was put up wherein more than 45 students transformed into authors of each genre as they put up stalls, introduced and sold their books to the audience and the teams with highest sale were awarded prizes. Over 45 students acted as customers who bought fake currency to buy the books. It was impressive to see the marketing strategies adopted by the students in the pursuit of the coveted first position.

The event that witnessed a participation of over 180 students culminated with a prize distribution ceremony with Principal ma'am handing away the prizes to the jubiliant winners.

We thank Principal ma'am for lending her support without whom this event would not have been made possible.











In a spectacular display of talent where around 200 schools had participated, the students of CRPF Public School, Rohini, shone brightly at the Youth Eco Summit organized by the Bajaj Foundation. The event was graced by notable personalities, with Anusha Dandekar, a famous Indo-Australian actress and MTV Video Jockey as the quiz master and anchor, and Sonu Sood, the renowned Bollywood actor and philanthropist, as the main guest panellists.

Sonu Sood's insightful contributions to the E-waste discussion, coupled with his inspiring anecdotes of aiding people during the COVID crisis and assisting Indian students abroad, left a lasting impact. He commended the school's cheering team, expressing that CRPF Public School's band and cheering team should find a place in Bollywood for their captivating performance.

The school's drummers, bagpipers, and dancers stole the spotlight in the cheering team competition, earning them the 1st prize and a heartfelt accolade from Mr. Pankaj Bajaj, the founder of Bajaj Foundation. The cheering team's grand show, described as awe-inspiring, brought goosebumps to the audience.

In panel discussions and ppt presentations, CRPF Public School secured a spot among the top 10 schools, showcasing their expertise and commitment to environmental issues. Their Waste to Art initiative not only qualified for the prelims but also earned them a prestigious trophy.

The quizzers, with their remarkable performance, held the audience spellbound with their arguments, contributing to the overall wonder of the learning experience. Even in the radio jingle competition, the school stood tall among the top 40.

I extend my  heartfelt gratitude to the Principal ma'am, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary, whose unwavering support served as the bedrock for this monumental event. Without her guidance and encouragement, this remarkable achievement would not have been possible.
