LOOKS ARE DECEPTIVE

A lady in a faded gingham dress and her husband, dressed in a homespun threadbare suit, stepped off the train in Boston, and walked timidly without an appointment into the Harvard University President's outer office.
The secretary could tell in a moment that such backwoods, country hicks had no business at Harvard and probably didn't even deserve to be in Cambridge.
"We'd like to see the president," the man said softly.

What's your new year resolution?

Someone asked-"What happens to good people when bad things happen to them?"
God replied-"They become better people..."
Instead of inventing reasons to create mess, let us all find reasons to be happy!!!
So what if some of us are really interested in killing the rest of us ;
So what if some of us just can't cherish a blossoming flower ;
So what if some of us fail to rise above the material things ;
So what if some of us don't feel thankful for what Mother Earth provided us with ;
It's always too early to give up gifting happiness to oneself and to all.
Let us all make a new year resolution to become better people.
At the end of the day, we may not get what we want,
but we will definitely get what we deserve...

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas everyone.May this auspicious occasion of Christmas bring happiness, peace and solitude of mind to every being on earth.
As in the words of Oren Arnold
Christmas gift suggestions:

To your enemy, forgiveness.
To an opponent, tolerance.
To a friend, your heart.
To a customer, service.
To all, charity.
To every child, a good example.
To yourself, respect.

Enjoy yourselves and make it a point to bring smile to the face of those about whom you care.

LADDER TO SUCCESS

There are no shortcuts to success. If we follow it step by step we’ll definitely emerge with collars up.

# Evaluate your potentials:- Sometimes we aim too high, set demands on ourselves which we know we are not capable of fulfilling It is better if we can, instead realize our potentials as well as shortcomings and base our goals accordingly.

# Define your plan of action:- Chalk out the procedure that you will follow to reach your goal. Think about all alternatives you have and choose the best one. Solicit the help you require.

# Keep your thinking positive:- Do not let small failures upset you, even if things do not go according to your wishes. Be optimistic, think positively, pray positively and believe positively. In bad times remember whatever God does is always for the best.

# Motivate yourself:- Don't compare yourself with others who are far ahead of you. It will only depress you and lower your sense of self esteem. Instead draw out inspiration from such people.

# Concentrate on your goal:- sharpen your concentration power. Don't give into momentary distractions. Build your self-control slowly.

# Visualize mentally:- Rehearse in your mind whatever steps you have to take before you actually achieve victory. Imagine all the possibilities before they actually happen. this will help you to be better prepared for the event.

# Praise yourself:- Talk to yourself about your capabilities. Remember your past successes and tell yourself that you can do it .It will give you the inner strength to go through deals.

# The golden rule to be remembered is that there are no shortcuts to success. It is a slow process which involves a lot of encouragement, patience, determination, hard work and support. The true happiness, the real fun is in the process of making success rather than having made it.

TEACH MY SON by Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln wrote this letter to his son’s teacher. This letter is a timeless classic.

... He will have to learn, I know, that men are not just, all men are not true. But teach him also that for every scoundrel there is a hero; that for every selfish politician, there is a dedicated leader.
Teach him that for every enemy there is a friend. It will take time, I know, but teach him if you can, that a dollar earned is of far more value than five found.
Teach him to learn to lose and also to enjoy winning. Steer him away from envy, if you can.
Teach him the secret of quiet laughter. Let him learn early that bullies are the easiest to lick.
Teach him, if you can, the wonder of books, but also give him quite some time to ponder the eternal mystery of birds in the sky, bees in the sun, and flowers on a green hillside.
In school teach him that it is far more honourable to fail than to cheat.
Teach him to have faith in his own ideas, even if everyone tells him they are wrong. Teach him to be gentle with gentle people, and tough with the tough.
Try to give my son the strength not to follow the crowd when everyone is getting on the bandwagon.
Teach him to listen to all men but teach him also to filter all he hears on a screen of truth and take only the good that comes through.
Teach him if you can, how to laugh when he is sad.
Teach him that there is no shame in tears.
Teach him to scoff at cynics and beware of too much sweetness.
Teach him to sell his brawn and brain to the highest bidders, but never to put a price tag on his heart and soul. Teach him to close his ears to the howling mob and to stand up and fight if he thinks he is right.
Teach him gently, but do not coddle fine steel. Let him have the courage to be impatient, let him have the patience to be brave. Teach him always to have sublime faith in mankind.
This is a big order, but see what you can do. He is such a fine fellow, my son.

CRPF Public School, Dwarka

CRPF Public School, Dwarka

Man is endowed with high sense of idealism, a flair for realistic approach and fervent desire to reshape the destiny. CRPF educational society has always been very fortunate to have such visionaries at the helm of school. Keeping in mind the educational ideals and the vision and looking into the tremendous demand, the foundation of CRPF public School, Rohini, was laid in 1987 and on May 1988 it was inaugurated. The school started with the few temporary structures and a handful of students but with loads of dedication, tenacity and confidence to accept the challenges. With the blessings and efforts of all, today, CRPF Public School Rohini is one of the best schools of Delhi having more than 2000 students on roll. In order to maintain the quality and individual attention we stick to the small sections consisting of 35 students.

We believe in experiment and innovations. After the success story of CRPF Public School, Rohini and gaining experience and confidence, now CRPF employee educational society is all set to start a new school at Dwarka. CRPF Public School Dwarka is in continuity with CRPF Public School, Rohini.

CRPF Public School Dwarka is located in Sec-16 and hardly 1 Km away from Delhi Metro Station Sec-14 a well known landmark. The school is situated in 2 acre of land. With the aims and objectives of making available quality education based on the basic principles of equity, relevance and excellence in education, the school will have the same curriculum and the culture as of CRPF Public School Rohini and will follow the same educational philosophy with its motto “Yogah Karmasu Kaushalam”. At present the school consists of a few class rooms with other structures. However, it’s a big project and its estimated expenditure is approximately 12 crores. The plans for the proper building with all the infrastructure to provide the conducive environment for imparting quality education have already been prepared and very soon the building construction will start.

CRPF Public School Dwarka was inaugurated on 27th November, 2006 by Shri. J.K. Sinha IPS DG CRPF. At present the school is functioning from KG to V. The school started functioning with just 43 students, 5 teachers and 1 office staff and now the faith of the parents of these children started showing results and today we have about 350 students and 17 teachers and 5 assistant staff.
