Dear all
Well, IInd Cycle Tests are over. We hope that you have performed satisfactorily! Anyways, this time, we would want to scribble about the the co-curricular activities which graced the day of 29 October. Yes, exactly! We are referring to the visit of the Japanese delegation to our school and the Kathakali dance performance by Padmashri Kalamandalam Gopiji later, under the aegis of Spic Macay.

On the Peace Mission across the globe, the delegates from Japan placed a Pillar Of Peace in the school premises and requested all to participate in the oath-making ceremony. Everybody declared in resounding volume- " May Peace Prevail On Earth " and we really wish, peace becomes a way of life, everywhere from now on. The interaction emphasized on the futility of disharmony and destruction. It was really a refreshing moment for all.

And in the afternoon hours, the school was mesmerized by the ecstatic kathakali performance by none other than Padmashree Awardee Kalamandalam Gopiji. The vivid colours of the dance attire added stars to the performance. His hand movements and elaborate gestures made all visualize and actualize the joy of dance and music. It was all in the moment, very enthralling. We really wish that we get to witness the maestro at his best again...
Hoping to have more days of such kind in our school...
