Ganit Utsav celebrations in Pre Primary

'Ganit Utsav ' to mark the birthday celebration of great mathematician,S.Ramanujan was celebrated in Pre primary department for Classes I and II on 19.12.2018 . The competition ,Math 'O' design was organized , wherein children participated actively by showcasing their amazing inguenity .The wonderful creativity exhibited by these blooming minds could be easily seen by looking at their presentation using variety of 2D shapes.The children selected as prize winners for their most commendable presentation are

English Declamation Competition of Primary Department

To give students an opportunity to hone their stage presentation and oratory skills, a declamation competition was organized for students of class III, IV and V on 24/12/18, in Primary Department of CRPF Public School. Such competitions help students gain confidence and develop valuable skills that will serve them in the years and decades ahead. Students had prepared their topics well and they were very enthusiastic and keen to share their view on the topic given to them.

CRPF PUBLIC SCHOOL, ROHINI CELEBERATES 30TH ANNUAL FUNCTION Resonance,ShrutiMaalika(7TH Dec, 2018)

As the evening sun set in the bosom of the winter sky on Friday, 7^th December 2018, the curtains rose and the stage came alive with the charismatic performance by the students of CRPF PUBLIC SCHOOL,ROHINI.

The multi- hued potpourri of music, dance and theatre was presented with great gusto and gaiety. The function titled, Resonance Shruti Maalika was a grand event in every aspect.

The Chief Guest, Sh. Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, IPS Director General, CRPF and the Guest of Honour, Dr. Smt. Manu Bhatnagar, President, CRPF Family Welfare Association, were given a warm welcome by the school Principal, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary.  Keeping up with CRPFian tradition a mellifluous band display welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries and escorted to the venue. The show commenced with traditional lighting of the lamp. An ecstatic feeling of enthusiasm and joy unfolded, with the school choir’s melodious rendition-Swaranjili.  An amalgamation of musical instruments was unfurled on the stage by the school orchestra- Euphonious Wreath.

The principal, Mrs.Nidhi Chaudhary, presented the school report, highlighting the achievements of the students.

The prayer dance –Tryst with God , Euphoria and Dancing Diamonds performed by the tiny tots of the school was full of finesse and elegance that left everyone spell bound. The Annual School Magazine, ‘Srijun’ was released by the Guest of the Honour. The chief guest awarded the meritorious students who excelled in academics and other co-curricular activities. The school ballet, Jeewan Swar- Soul of Life”, a spectacular extravaganza was applauded by all.

The Chief Guest, Sh. Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar IPS DG, CRPF appreciated and applauded the efforts of the Principal, staff and students for bringing together a mesmerizing Annual Day function. Vote of thanks was presented by the Head girl and the Head boy.

The creative venture was a heady mix of vibrant performances, mesmerizing music and a brilliant model showcasing efforts of the students and the staff of the school.

JOY OF GIVING

Students of Pre-Primary and Primary participated and generously contributed in the campaign initiated by Hindustan Times to celebrate Joy of Giving. It was a wonderful opportunity to make them socially aware and sensitive towards the needs of less-privileged .Such kind of activities encourage the culture of giving among the individuals.

After contributing my bit I understood life is a journey, moving from the joy of taking to the joy of giving. I cannot do everything but I can do something .We feel happy when we share.

FIRE MOCK DRILL

CRPF Public School, Rohini held a fire mock drill on 29^TH Nov, 2018. The committee of teacher which takes care of the fire safety in school immediately got the building evacuated as soon as the fire alarm went off. The students took the nearest stair case available and the teachers quickly guided them. There are 05 exit points in school. The building was evacuated within 2 to 3 minutes. The fire committee members took a quick round checking of class rooms, toilets, library, labs etc for any student or causality and then reported to the Principal. The Medical case team also came into action immediately. The school had the ambulance ready. The students gathered out in the ground near the open stage. The Principal also told the students what they should do in case of any emergency for eg roll on ground, keep a wet cloth on face if there is lot of smoke and not inhale it much, open windows etc. The whole fire mock drill exercise was quite educative and full of awareness for all.

Inter-House Rangoli Competition

An inter-house rangoli competition based on theme "Diwali was conducted on 5/11/18.Children of classes IX, X, XI participated in it very enthusiastically. They used a variety of materials like colors, dried rice, organic color, foliage etc. Students' work was appreciated by Judges. Judgement was done on the basis of theme, colour combination, innovation creativity, variety and presentation. Shradha house bagged FIRST position followed by Shrum and Shaurya house respectively

Special Assembly on Diwali: Pre Primary Department

Special assembly on Diwali by Pre Primary department was held on 5.11.2018.The assembly commenced with the singing of a melodious song by choir of Class II.It was followed by talk by students of KG A on how to celebrate 'Green Diwali'.Recitation of a poem by KG A on celebration of eco friendly Diwali was one more moment of applaudable performance by them.The showstealer was enactment of 'Ramleela' in english by kindergartners.The audience was left spellbound by their mesmering performance.It was followed by little ones of KG class dancing to the vibrant tunes of the song' Happy Diwali' .It was a sight to behold to see the kindergarteners tapping their feet enthusiastically.The assembly culminated with the prefectorial board and all the students and teachers taking pledge not to burst crackers ,not to use plastic lights and to promote and support Indian handicrafts.
