Drugs are destroying the lives of
our youth and putting their future in a great darkness. The use of drugs is
making their lives vulnerable and prone to destruction. Therefore, it becomes
very important to raise awareness about it amongst our youth and prevent them
from succumbing to it. Keeping in mind the relevance to make our students aware
about the harmful impacts of substance abuse, a plethora of activities were
organized by C.R.P.F. Public School, Rohini.
A poster making competition was organized to mark
the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking. Students
participated enthusiastically in the same and came up with creative posters.
An eminent medical practitioner, Dr. Bijender Sindhu
was invited to the school to conduct a seminar on the harmful impact of drugs
on the youth of the day. He made the students aware about the dangers of drug
abuse and how they could guard themselves against the dangers of the same.
A rally was organized by the students of senior
school in order to spread awareness amongst the masses against the harmful
effects of substance abuse. The students participated enthusiastically and
raised their voices against substance abuse.
The enthusiastic participation by the students, and
the able guidance of the Principal, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary, made the event a
great success.
