The following activities were conducted in the month of October ---

1. Awareness about World Dyslexia Day

By understanding dyslexia, students can foster a more inclusive environment and provide support for their peers. The awareness campaign was conducted through educational video screening through smart boards.

White Cane Safety Day, observed on October 15, promotes awareness about the significance of the white cane as a tool for independence for the visually impaired. This awareness campaign aimed to educate students on the importance of the white cane, its role in promoting safety and independence, and ways to be supportive and mindful towards those who are visually challenged.

3. Quiz on Inclusivity

An inclusivity quiz was conducted with students to promote understanding and acceptance of diversity. The quiz was presented using a PowerPoint on the smart board, covering various aspects of inclusivity, respect, and empathy towards others.

4. Poster making

Students participated enthusiastically in Poster Making Activity on Inclusion. The activity encouraged them to express their ideas creatively and spread awareness about accepting and respecting differences.

"Manpower without unity is not a strength unless it is harmonized and united properly, then it becomes a spiritual power." — Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

To mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Shaurya House conducted a special assembly on 31st October 2025, celebrating the values of unity, teamwork, and integrity— ideals deeply cherished by the Iron Man of India.

The assembly commenced with an inspiring thought for the day, followed by an insightful talk that emphasized the importance of standing together for the progress and strength of the nation. The Head Boy, Saswat Singh, and Head Girl, Sargam Singh, then administered the Integrity Pledge, where students solemnly vowed to uphold honesty, reject corruption, and contribute to a just society.

To further reinforce the message of unity in action, students enthusiastically participated in the "Run for Unity", organized under the guidance of *SI Krishan and HC Suresh from the Delhi Police. The event symbolized the collective spirit and determination to walk together toward national harmony.

In her concluding address, Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary, lauded the students’ efforts and highlighted the timeless relevance of Sardar Patel’s ideals. She urged everyone to embody unity and teamwork not only in daily life but also in the school’s upcoming Annual Day Celebration, reminding that success is achieved when every member works as one cohesive unit.

PRIMARY SCHOOL INTER HOUSE RANGOLI COMPETITION

Rangoli is where tradition meets creativity.

Rangoli is a folk art of India and a storehouse of symbols. Its symbolic value represents the basic energies of the universe. Rangoli also signifies happiness, positivity, & livliness in the place where it is created.

On the auspicious occasion of the festival, rangoli plays a vital role, and a celebration was conducted in the form of an inter- house rangoli competition in the Primary Department.

The enthusiasm and energy of creativity were beautifully reflected through various ideas. Children showed immense interest by using eco-friendly materials such as flowers, rice, acrylic paints, and earthen elements to beautify their charismatic patterns.

The students found it enjoyable and learnt how such intricate designs are drawn with the help of a grid, allowing the mind to be exercised. We may proudly say that all the students performed exceptionally well, and their cooperation and creativity went beyond expectations.
