Report on Mental Health Week Celebration (4th–10th October 2025)

“Taking care of your mind is the first step towards taking care of your life.”

Mental Health Week was observed in our school from 4th to 10th October,2025 with the objective of spreading awareness about the importance of mental  and emotional well-being among students. A series of meaningful activities were conducted across all levels from Pre-Primary to Class XII, focusing on mindfulness, self-care, and healthy living.

The week commenced with guided meditation and breathing exercises, helping students relax and develop focus. Yoga and fitness sessions emphasized posture awareness and the significance of maintaining physical and mental harmony. To encourage a healthy lifestyle, educational videos on nutrition, emotional health, and balanced routines were shown. Students also participated in non-fire cooking activities, where they prepared nutritious recipes, reinforcing the value of healthy food habits.

Throughout the week, students took part in the “Gratitude Jar Activity” and “Letter to Future Self” — both promoting self-reflection, positivity, and introspection. A skit on the theme “You Are Not Alone” sensitized students to the importance of empathy, peer support, and reaching out for help when needed. The screening of short awareness videos on mental health further deepened their understanding of emotional well-being.

Adding a creative dimension, students designed posters, slogans, and bulletin boards highlighting the importance of caring for one’s mind and promoting kindness and self-awareness. The vibrant displays inspired everyone to prioritize mental wellness as a daily practice.

The week-long celebration successfully fostered an environment of care, mindfulness, and resilience within the school community. It reminded everyone that nurturing mental health is the key to leading a happy, balanced, and fulfilling life.
