“The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers.” – Ralph Nader

On 25 August 2025, CRPF Public School, Rohini, hosted its Investiture Ceremony, a solemn and momentous occasion that celebrated the formal induction of the newly elected student council and prefectorial board. Organized by Shakti House, the event stood as a testimony to the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing future leaders who embody discipline, responsibility, and the ethos of the institution.

The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial pinning of badges. The newly elected Head Boy, Saswat Singh (XII E), and Head Girl, Sargam Singh (XII E) were honoured by Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary. This was followed by the felicitation of the Deputy Head Boy, Ashutosh Mishra (XII D), and Deputy Head Girl, Yashika Yadav (XII F). The proud moment continued as the House Captains, Vice-Captains of the four houses—Shradha, Shrum, Shaurya, and Shakti—along with other members of the prefectorial board were adorned with their badges by their respective House Masters, who lauded their capabilities and entrusted them with the mantle of leadership.

With heads held high and spirits firm, the student leaders took the oath of office, administered by Principal Ma’am, pledging to uphold the values of the school, lead with integrity, and perform their duties with dedication. A thought-provoking and creative video on leadership was also showcased, highlighting the importance of taking initiative and inspiring others to follow with responsibility and determination.

In her address, Principal Ma’am emphasized the true essence of leadership—reminding the newly appointed leaders that authority alone does not define a leader, but rather the ability to inspire, guide, and carry the team along with humility and empathy. She encouraged them to serve as role models, to lead by example, and to always prioritize collective welfare over individual gain.

The ceremony concluded with a wave of pride, motivation, and optimism, leaving everyone present inspired to witness a future steered by these young, dynamic leaders.
