THEME:- INTERNATIONAL TIGER DAY
"Save the Tiger, Save Our Pride!"
On the occasion of ' International Tiger Day', Class 1 students presented a special assembly to spread awareness about the importance of tigers in maintaining ecological balance. The programme was a unique blend of information and emotions crafted and presented thoughtfully by our young learners.
The assembly began with a soulful prayer that set a peaceful tone for the day. It was followed by 'thought of the day' and a poem 'Tiger, tiger- big and bold.'
The highlight of the assembly was an engaging conversation where students discussed threats like poaching, habitat loss and deforestation and they also suggested practical ways to protect tigers. The talk show not only educated the audience but also encouraged them to be a voice for the voiceless. Gurnav Soni presented a captivating poem which was followed by a musical act showcasing the plea of tigers and spreading awareness to save them.
The programme concluded with a dance performance titled “Tiger - The king of wild”. Children dressed as forest creatures joyfully danced to a lively tune, delivering the message that the majestic tigers must be protected.
The assembly was a reminder that saving tigers is not just about saving a species—it's about saving forests, preserving biodiversity, and ensuring a better future for all. Compering children spell bound the audience with their confident compering and adding charm to the assembly.
Activities like mask making and poster making were carried out in Classes KG to II.
Let us all pledge today:- 'Roar for the tiger — protect our wild pride!'
