INTERNATIONAL PLASTIC FREE DAY
PRE PRIMARY DEPARTMENT
Every year, International Plastic Free Day is observed on
July 3rd to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic pollution. It
is a call for an action to protect our environment, oceans, wildlife, and
future generations from the toxic impacts of plastic waste.
To raise awareness among students’ various activities were
conducted throughout the day.
KG class made beautiful paper bags and decorated them as
well.
Poster making activity was done in the class 1 to encourage
them to use jute bags. Children also watched a documentary on how to stop using
single use plastic. Class 2 children made collage on SAY NO TO PLASTIC.
Children took pledge to avoid single use plastic and they
understood the concept of reducing reusing and recycling.
Public speaking activity was conducted and students of Pre-Primary
students presented their views on plastic free day enthusiastically and
confidently.
Together, we can make a difference. Let’s take this step
today for a cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful planet.
Say no to plastic, yes to the planet! 🌿
