INCLUSIVE EDUCATION CLUB ACTIVITIES

Inclusive Education club has been constituted in the school as per DOE guidelines to ensure equal opportunity to all students in all educational and social activities and to help in minimizing societal and attitudinal barriers faced by Divyang students.

The following activities were conducted in the month of September on the theme --'Amulya Kalakaar'---

1.Awareness about International Day of Sign Languages

Students were sensitized about the International Day of Sign Languages using educational slides and video. The slides provided key information on the importance of sign languages, the rights of the Deaf community, and some basic signs. The program increased students’ awareness of inclusivity and empathy toward the Deaf community, encouraging them to foster a non-discriminative barrier free environment.

2.Participation of CWSN in Special Assembly along with their peers

CWSN were given opportunities to participate in special assembly along with their peers wherein they took active roles in activities such as singing and dancing. Peers provided support and collaborated, creating an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere. The event helped raise awareness about diversity and emphasized the importance of equal opportunities for all students. The assembly was a successful step toward building a more inclusive school community.
