Character Portrayal Competition
On October 14th, 2024, a vibrant Character Portrayal
Competition was held for Class 2 students. The theme for this exciting event
was 'Our National Heroes, inspiring young minds to learn about and embody the
values of legendary figures who shaped India's history.
Students, dressed in colorful attire, came alive as various
national heroes. From the valiant Rani Laxmibai to the ever-inspiring Bhagat
Singh, the children delivered heartfelt portrayals, brimming with enthusiasm
and a sense of national pride.
The judges were captivated by the students' performances and
left speechless by their talent and dedication. Each portrayal was unique,
showcasing the students' understanding of their chosen heroes and their impact
on India.
After the competition concluded, the in-charge mam, Ms Hema
Batra, took the stage to share her thoughts. She expressed her heartfelt
gratitude to the judges, Dr Simin Akhter and Ms Aradhana Goel, for their time
and valuable feedback. More importantly, she commended the students for their
phenomenal performances, highlighting the importance of learning about national
heroes and keeping their legacy alive.
This Character Portrayal Competition was undoubtedly a
resounding success. It fostered a spirit of patriotism and historical awareness
among the young participants, leaving an impactful mark on their learning
journey.
