Special Assembly on Republic Day
In remembrance of lying down of Indian
constitution and contribution of freedom fighters, special assembly on Republic
Day was held by Primary Department on 25th January, 2017. Large
number of students participated in the assembly to celebrate the occasion.
Assembly began with talk and Hindi poems by class V students to celebrate the
spirit of citizenship and love for our country. Students were mesmerized by the
choir “Mera Pyaara Hindustan”. The
song was followed by character dramatization of different freedom fighters,
starting from Revolt of 1857 to Indian freedom movement till 1949. The
programme concluded with distribution of medals and certificates to winners of
NSO and Intra school maths olympiad.
