IITF 2009

Dear All

India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) presents the 29th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2009. IITF is the flagship event of ITPO held every year in Pragati Maidan from 14th-27th November. It is the only event of its kind held in India in terms of its size and content .The fair showcases the latest developments, progresses and growths in various sectors of Indian economy and represents a microcosm of today’s India. While on the consumer sector it serves to launch new brands and put on display a wide array of products, its business section attracts a large number of visitors from India and abroad.

IITF facilitates trade initiation whether for the direct consumers or for the business world in the area of new business deals, identification of agents and distributors. IITF has the product profile which covers the entire range of products and services from hi-tech orientation to traditional character and appeal. The unique feature of the fair is that it is the only fair which showcases the vast country that India is, through various State pavilions. Considering the contribution made by the service sector to the Indian economy, this year’s theme of the fair has been aptly chosen as “Export of Services”.

The event also dots with cultural shows both classical and folk drawn from almost all parts of the country. Theatres, dance, puppetry, music both instrumental and vocal will be the main attractions in evenings. Further, the visitors to the fair can enjoy India’s varied cuisines in all days of the event.
