Theme: SDG-14 LIFE BELOW WATER

The goal of SDG 14 is to protect our oceans and the animals that live in them. It focuses on keeping the water clean, stopping overfishing, and making sure people use the ocean in a way that keeps it safe and healthy for the future.

Class 3C hosted a thought-provoking assembly on SDG-14.

The event began with a meaningful Thought. Students then recited Poems emphasizing the importance of our oceans and how to save them.

The choir sang a melodious song which has several questions on the current situation of oceans.

A short skit THE OCEANS CRY was performed, giving the solutions for saving oceans and marine life.

The assembly concluded with a dance performance on PAANI ANTHEM trying to make us realise and take appropriate actions before it became very late.

THEME -SPLASHY FRIENDS

SDG Goal -14(Life below water)

The kindergarten assembly on "Splashy Friends" was a joyful celebration of friendship and teamwork. It began with a heartfelt prayer, followed by a thought of the day emphasizing the joy of true friendship.

Children performed a delightful play act, dressed as water animals, showcasing kindness and cooperation. A lively dance performance added excitement, spreading smiles all around.

A fun quiz engaged the little ones, and some shared their views on friendship. The assembly concluded with encouraging words from the incharge ma’am, appreciating the students' confidence and teamwork.


 

Class 3B Special Assembly

Theme: SDG-13 CLIMATE ACTION

SDG 13: Climate Action, aims to combat climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, promoting sustainable development, and building resilient communities, ensuring a livable future for all.

Class 3B hosted a thought-provoking assembly on SDG-13 Climate Action. The event began with a compelling mono-act, highlighting the devastating effects of climate change. Students then recited poems, emphasizing the importance of protecting our planet.

A vibrant dance performance followed, conveying the message of conservation and sustainability. The choir sang a melodious song, inspiring to take action against climate change.

The assembly concluded with a solemn oath, where students pledged to reduce, reuse, and recycle, and to protect the planet for future generations and become responsible stewards of the Earth.




Workshop for girls on Health and Hygiene

A workshop was organized for girls of classes 5 and 6 on the topic - 'Health and Hygiene ' as a part of Adolescent education program on 7-2-2024.

The resource person, Ms. Manisha from Procter and Gamble apprised the students about physical changes during adolescence through educational slides and videos.

She highlighted the importance of healthy diet, active lifestyle and personal hygiene for leading a healthy and disease-free life.

The aim of the workshop was to provide age-appropriate information, educate students about the process of growing up and encourage them to develop healthy habits.

It was an enlightening session which helped in dispelling many myths and taboos.

We are thankful to respected Principal ma'am for her guidance and support in arranging this workshop.

Topic- RADIANT LIFE

SDG-3-Good Health and Well-being

 

“Happiness is not something readymade. It comes from your own actions ".

To highlight the theme class assembly was conducted by the students of class KG-DAFFODILS. It began by thanking our almighty God followed by the thought of the day. After that a short skit was presented to explain the theme Radiant Life which shared some effective ways that help us to improve our well-being. Towards the culmination of the assembly, children glorified the importance of being healthy through an action song on Healthy Habits where we could see the little ones smiling and enjoying on every beat.

It was heartening to see children performing confidently and joyfully on the stage.




 Class 3A SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

Theme:  SDG Goal 5 (Gender Equality)

The students of class 3A presented their special assembly on theme ' Gender Equality ', on 4th February 2025.The special assembly began with a thoughtful reflection, where students shared their personal understanding of gender equality and its importance in creating a fair and just society.

A dedicated talk on the topic of Gender Equality followed, explaining the core principles of SDG 5.  

A beautiful Hindi poem was recited, celebrating the strength, resilience, and multifaceted roles of women in society.

The class then sang "Yes We Can," an empowering anthem that resonated with the theme of equality and encouraged positive action.

A short skit was performed, depicting everyday scenarios where gender bias and inequality are often subtly present.  

The assembly concluded with an energetic and expressive dance performance, celebrating diversity and the power of equality.



The Hindu, one of India's most esteemed English newspapers, conducted the 23rd edition of its prestigious Young World Quiz, a mega event testing general knowledge and current affairs. Held across 19 cities, the Delhi edition at Sri Ram Centre for Performing Arts witnessed an impressive participation of 148 teams. We are thrilled to announce that our school team, comprising Atharv Rajput (11-F) and Saswat Singh (11-E), secured 2nd position. Their outstanding achievement was recognized with a school trophy, two individual trophies, and certificates.




 

Basant Panchami celebrations in Pre Primary

Pre-Primary Department celebrated Basant Panchami with vibrant enthusiasm.

The day began with a melodious choir, as young voices of KG to 2nd children resonated in reverence to Maa Saraswati seeking Divine blessings. It was followed by an enlightening talk by class 2 students on the significance of the festival, highlighting the arrival of spring and the worship of Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of wisdom and learning.

Class 1 and 2 students participated in a soul-stirring dance performance paying obeisance to Maa Saraswati.

"Wisdom is the light that guides us through the darkness," the celebration was a reminder of the importance of knowledge, learning, and the beauty of spring.

Special Assembly Class 4C

SDG 15 - LIFE ON LAND

A flourishing life on land is the foundation of our life on the planet. But our activities are degrading it day-by-day.

In order to raise awareness about this alarming concern, the students of class 4C presented an assembly on 30th January 2025.

The assembly began with a soulful prayer by the class singing squad thanking "The Creator of All Forms of Life".

Next up the current happenings from around the world were updated.

An enriching quote shared by a student highlighting the urgency to Take up Sustainable Action,  gave everyone food for thought.

Then a talk was presented which deeply explained the United Nation's 15th SD Goal.

Lastly, a play laid on the fact that we are all a part of the planet's ecosystem but have caused severe damage to it causing land degradation, deforestation, and loss of natural habitat ; was presented and the importance to Conserve the Ecosystem was explained.

In a nutshell, the event highlighted the message that "Promoting Biodiversity is not a Cause, but the Key of Our Survival" 🌱



INCLUSIVE EDUCATION CLUB ACTIVITIES

Inclusive Education club has been constituted in the school as per DOE guidelines to ensure equal opportunity to all students  in all educational and social activities and to help in minimizing societal and attitudinal barriers faced by Divyang students .

The following activities were conducted in the month of  January on the theme: 'Swavlamban'--

1) Pre vocational and vocational activities( jewellery making,envelope making , making of wall hanging,pen stand making)

CWSN students along with their buddies participated  in these activities with great enthusiasm which provided them with hands on experience and helped in building upon their strengths. 

2) Awareness on Leprosy  through  educational videos

Awareness was created among students about leprosy-----need for early diagnosis ,  proper treatment and spreading further awareness among families and friends for eliminating stigma associated with it.

Sense of  supportive   collaboration and togetherness was promoted  which led to enhancement of  inclusive culture in the school.
