A Proud Moment for CRPF Public School, Rohini - A Student’s Thrilling Journey to Sriharikota

CRPF Public School, Rohini, is elated to share the achievement of one of its students of class XI, Ashutosh Mishra, who brought honor to the school through his success in the National Space Day Quiz 2024, organized by MyGov. Securing a position among the top 100 winners was a remarkable feat, earning him a cash prize of ₹2000, a certificate, a t-shirt, a laptop bag, a pen, and a notebook. However, the highlight of his victory was an exclusive invitation to visit the renowned SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota—India's prestigious spaceport.

The highlights of the visit are :-

Ø  Welcome into Brahmaprakash Hall of Sriharikota by the Chief Planning Engineer, who provided deep insights into ISRO’s vision and operations.

Ø  Tour of the Mission Control Centre, where India’s space leaders, including the ISRO Chairman and Prime Minister Modi, oversee rocket launches.

Ø  Learning strategic advantages of Sriharikota’s geographical location, making it an ideal launch site.

Ø  Watching a short film detailing the spaceport's history.

Ø  Conduct of small interviews, giving a platform to share his experiences and insights.

The visit was concluded by the MyGov officials reminding the students of the rare privilege they had experienced, visiting such a restricted and significant site.
