"Fire safety is everyone's responsibility; let's ensure our preparedness for emergencies."

On April 19th, 2024, CRPF Public School in Rohini took a proactive step towards ensuring the safety and security of all students and staff by conducting a comprehensive Fire Safety Mock Drill. Collaborating with officers from the Delhi Fire Safety Academy, Sector XIV Rohini, the school aimed to educate and prepare everyone for potential emergencies. In a gesture of appreciation, Principal Ma'am felicitated the team of fire officers and presented a sapling to SO Mr. Bhupender Sharma, symbolizing growth and renewal in safety practices.

Prioritizing an efficient and orderly evacuation of the school building, the drill served to familiarize students and staff with fire safety measures and emergency procedures. Teachers diligently briefed students on emergency exit plans, evacuation routes, and safety protocols, ensuring everyone was well-prepared.

With three headcounts scheduled throughout the drill, including before leaving the building, reaching the assembly ground, and returning to classrooms, the importance of accountability and coordination was emphasized. Special attention was given to students with special needs, ensuring their safe evacuation with the assistance of designated buddy students.

The collaboration with the Fire department proved invaluable as officers provided essential tips and demonstrated the proper use of fire extinguishers, empowering everyone with life-saving knowledge. The Principal, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary's proactive leadership in implementing such initiatives for experiential learning is commendable.
