"Be the change that you wish to see in the world." - Mahatma Gandhi

In the spirit of Gandhiji's timeless wisdom, the students of Class 11A, Humanities Stream, embarked on an enlightening journey to the Eternal Gandhi Multimedia Museum on 9th February 2024, in collaboration with NIE, Times of India. Brimming with anticipation, the students eagerly immersed themselves in the profound legacy of the Father of the Nation.

Their odyssey commenced at the sacred site of Gandhi's martyrdom, a poignant reminder of his enduring sacrifice for truth and non-violence. Moving forward, the students traversed through an open gallery adorned with vivid depictions of Gandhi's life, showcasing his evolution from a humble child to a revered leader through captivating paintings, insightful write-ups, and authentic photographs.

A poignant short film unfolded before their eyes, offering a glimpse into the final moments of Gandhiji's extraordinary life, stirring their hearts with profound reverence. Stepping into the Multimedia Museum, they delved into the intricacies of Gandhi's influence on the Indian currency, tracing the genesis of currency notes bearing his iconic visage.

The journey continued as they perused through historical newspaper clippings, unveiling Gandhi's pioneering initiatives that ignited the flame of change across the nation. Their senses were further captivated as they listened to the resonant voice of Gandhi, echoing timeless wisdom and unwavering resolve.

Handwritten letters and notes penned by Gandhiji himself provided a tangible connection to his indomitable spirit, while a meticulous model of the ashram he nurtured served as a testament to his ethos of simplicity and self-reliance.

Immersive multimedia presentations illuminated the pivotal movements spearheaded by Gandhiji, including the iconic Dandi March, the transformative Champaran movement, and the timeless dignity of the charkha symbolizing self-sufficiency and resilience.

A striking monument, the Unity Stambh, left an indelible impression on the students, instilling the timeless message of strength in unity and the perils of division. Interactive touchscreen displays and sensory models brought to life the historic milestones of the Swadeshi movement, enlightening the students with a deeper understanding of India's struggle for independence.

In a fitting finale, a spirited quiz challenged the students to reflect on their newfound knowledge of Gandhi's profound teachings, fostering a sense of reverence and appreciation for his enduring legacy.
