“Lord Buddha taught that no work is small and no worker is insignificant, for dignity lies in honest labour and compassion towards all.”

Shaurya House conducted a special assembly to mark the occasions of Labour’s Day and Buddha Purnima. The assembly commenced with the rendition of a prayer, followed by a melodious choir presentation on Buddha Purnima. The students also presented the news, thought for the day, and a beautiful self-composed Hindi poem dedicated to the teachings of Lord Buddha.

To mark Labour’s Day, the students presented a short yet meaningful skit expressing heartfelt gratitude towards the unsung heroes — our labourers — whose relentless efforts contribute immensely to society. The assembly concluded on a touching note as the students handed over handmade thank-you cards to the support staff and labourers, expressing their sincere appreciation and gratitude for their dedicated services.

Shaurya House would also like to express its heartfelt gratitude to Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary, for giving the students the opportunity to conduct such meaningful assemblies that instil values of compassion, gratitude, and respect towards every individual in society.
