Today, on 27 December 2023, three Hindi competitions were organized under Bhava Sancharika organized by Adharshila Vidyapeeth Pitampura.  *Vaibhav Devansh of class 9E got first place in mythological character acting *Sakshi Yadav of class 8B got second place in comedy satire poetry competition and *Sargam and Yashvi Gaur of class 10th got consolation prize in debate competition.  .

On the basis of total marks of all three competitions, CRPF Public School was awarded the winning trophy.




*Workshop on "Handwriting Hacks: Decode Your Personality via Handwriting"*

The air buzzed with anticipation as Class 10 students gathered for a transformative workshop organized by NIE, Times of India, titled "Handwriting Hacks: Decode Your Personality via Handwriting." Promising a unique journey into the world of graphology, the event aimed to unravel the mysteries of handwriting and provide insights into personal growth.

 

The workshop unfolded with a warm welcome and a symbolic sapling presentation by the Vice Principal, Mrs. Beena Sri Kumar. This gesture set the stage for a captivating exploration into self-discovery through the art of handwriting. The saying, "In every curve and stroke, lies a story untold," echoed through the room.

Aastha Kalra, the esteemed Graphologist, took the stage amid accolades highlighting her extensive experience in deciphering the language of handwriting. Her impactful influence extended beyond individual lives, leaving a lasting mark on prestigious educational institutions and corporate boardrooms. The audience eagerly absorbed the wealth of expertise she shared.

 

In her welcome address, the Vice Principal, Mrs. Beena Sri Kumar acknowledged the profound significance of handwriting as a unique expression, serving as a mirror to one's personality. Her words resonated with the students, creating an environment of receptivity and engagement.

 

In conclusion, the "Handwriting Hacks" workshop provided a captivating and insightful experience for the Class 10 participants. The event not only promised but delivered a unique journey into the intricacies of personality through the lens of graphology. The anticipation that filled the air at the beginning transformed into eagerness, leaving the students motivated to further explore the depths of their own personalities.






CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION BY PRE-PRIMARY DEPARTMENT

The chill in the air brings festivity and merriment. Christmas brings happiness and we celebrated it with the same fervour, spreading the message of love and joy among our children.
Students of Pre- Primary presented their special assembly with full zest and zeal. The celebration begun with a beautiful song and then soaking in the spirit of celebration, children sang carols. The students were told about the importance of sharing, caring and spreading goodness all around. It was a treat to the eyes to see the students dance on the joyful tunes. After that it was time to celebrate 'THE JOY OF GIVING', an idea initiated by our respected Principal ma'am, Ms. Nidhi Chaudhary to instill among children the value of ' sharing is caring'. Pre Primary children along with Vice principal ma'am ,Ms. Beena Shri Kumar distributed dry cakes among the school supporting staff as a token of love and gratitude.

National Mathematics Day, observed on December 22, commemorates the birth anniversary of the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. In honor of this day, various engaging activities were organized to instill joyful learning among students.

Activities included an intra Maths and Science Olympiad for classes VI-IX, where a large number of students participated enthusiastically. All classes from VI to XI engaged in activities facilitated by Maths and Science teachers within their respective classrooms. Students explored the life history of Srinivasa Ramanujan, his contributions to mathematics, and participated in the intriguing MAGIC SQUARE activity, creating their own magic squares.

Additional activities such as poster making, article writing, quizzes, ppt presentations, hands-on activity demonstrations by students, and comic strip preparations contributed to the overall celebration.

In the Pre-Primary department, students from classes I and II participated in a Math Wizard quiz based on logical reasoning and a Math-O Design Competition, where they created scenes using basic mathematical shapes. Additionally, Class KG students participated in the Shape O Mania Competition, constructing beautiful objects using cutouts of 2D shapes.

The celebration aimed to create awareness about the importance of mathematics and explore mathematical concepts in a fun and interactive way.







VOCAL VOYAGES

In the pursuit of fostering effective communication skills among school students, a series of activities were conducted for Classes 6 to 8 to enhance both listening and speaking abilities. These activities aimed to create a conducive learning environment and empower students to express themselves confidently while also promoting active listening.

 Interactive Storytelling Sessions: Engaging storytelling sessions were organized, where students actively listened to narratives and then participated in discussions, emphasizing comprehension and attentive listening.

 Audio Clips Analysis : Students analyzed various audio clips, such as interviews, podcasts, and speeches. This activity aimed to develop critical listening skills by encouraging students to identify key points, infer meaning, and discern different communication styles.

 Role-Play Exercises : Role-playing scenarios were incorporated to simulate real-life communication situations. This allowed students to practice focused listening, understand diverse perspectives, and respond appropriately.

 Speaking Skills Activities: Debates and Discussions: Debates and group discussions were conducted on relevant topics, encouraging students to articulate their thoughts clearly, defend their opinions, and engage in respectful discourse.

 Public Speaking Activities : Activities that focused on public speaking techniques were organized to instill confidence in students. They practiced voice modulation, body language, and effective use of language to convey their ideas convincingly.

The activities conducted resulted in noticeable improvements in both listening and speaking skills among the middle school students. Increased participation, enhanced vocabulary, and improved confidence were observed.

The implemented activities successfully contributed to the development of communication skills among middle school students. By fostering active listening and expressive speaking, these initiatives aimed to prepare students for effective communication in various aspects of their academic and personal lives.










The prestigious newspaper, The Hindu, conducted a quiz competition at Aiwan-e-Ghalib auditorium, Mandi House, on 20.12.2023. Approximately 200 teams participated in the quiz, and our team of Atharv Rajput and Saswat Singh (both from 10E) secured the 3rd position. They were awarded trophies, gift hampers, and certificates for their achievement.







The Reading Enrichment *Program launched by the English Department successfully ignited a passion for reading amongst students of classes 6 to 8. The book clubs christened Chapter Champs (Class 6) Story Sifters (Class 7) Text Trekkers (Class 8)

incorporated various interactive activities, the initiative not only improved literacy skills but also created a vibrant literary community within the school. Continued support for such programs is essential to nurture a lifelong love for reading among students. Every month, books would added to the program to encourage children to encourage students to read more.

Students participated in interactive book talks where they shared their thoughts on assigned books.

This encouraged peer discussions and exposed students to diverse literary genres.

 Reading circles were formed, allowing students to engage in group discussions about specific texts. This collaborative approach promoted comprehension skills and shared insights.

 Comic strip were made as a follow up activity, highlighting the books read this month, bringing to the fore the ingenuity of the students fuelled by the passion for books.

CRPF PUBLIC SCHOOL, ROHINI bagged 2nd Position in State Level Mono Acting competition in both Senior and Junior categories.

Vedansh Sharma of Clase XII F bagged 2nd position in Seniors Category Boys.

 Abhaya Narayan of Class VII C bagged 2nd Position in Junior Category Girls.

The competition was between ALL 12 DISTRICT IN DELHI where teams of 48 schools participated.


 इंदिरा गांधी कला एवं संस्कृति समिति के सौजन्य से हिंदुस्तानी भाषा अकादमी के द्वारा 6 दिसंबर 2023 ,बुधवार को आयोजित  ' भारतीय भाषा उत्सव ' में सी.आर.पी.एफ .पब्लिक  स्कूल , रोहिणी , दिल्ली  के 30 बच्चों को दसवीं की बोर्ड परीक्षा में हिंदी भाषा में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन हेतु भाषा दूत सम्मान एवं मैडल से सम्मानित किया गया, साथ ही हिंदी विभाग की अध्यक्षा डा० अंजु द्विवेदी एवं श्रीमती  ज्योत्स्ना को ट्रॉफी प्रदान कर भाषा गौरव सम्मान से सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि थे- पूर्व राष्ट्रपति श्री रामनाथ कोविंद तथा विशिष्ट अतिथि थीं-भारत सरकार के कला एवं संस्कृति विभाग की केंद्रीय मंत्री श्रीमती मीनाक्षी लेखी। इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि ने भारतीय भाषाओं को बढ़ावा देने तथा उच्च शिक्षा को भी इसके साथ जोड़ने पर बल दिया। इस कार्यक्रम में बच्चों ने बहुत उत्साह पूर्वक भाग लिया।

The Sports Department is delighted to share that with the untiring efforts of our football team, the school won the Championship Trophy of football Mahavir Cup. All top performing teams of Delhi NCR schools were invited in this tournament and our School won this Championship.


 


CUET Workshop: "Crack the Code" conducted on 1-12-23

A vibrant and promising morning unfolded as students and teachers of class 11 and 12 gathered for the workshop on CUET: "Crack the Code." The event commenced with a warm welcome, setting the tone for an enlightening session.

Addressing the students, the speaker emphasized the essence of success in the journey of cracking CUET. The message conveyed resonated deeply, highlighting that success is not merely defined by outcomes, but by the unwavering effort, determination, and resilience invested in the pursuit of knowledge.

The workshop was graced by the presence of a distinguished personality, Mr. Deepak Madan, the Executive Vice President of Career Launcher. With over 25 years of experience in the education industry and a background as a Pharmacist, Mr. Madan's career trajectory, beginning with Ranbaxy Labs, added a unique perspective to the session.

In a gesture symbolizing growth and learning, the Vice Principal, Mrs. Beena Sri Kumar, honored Mr. Madan with a sapling.

Welcoming Mr. Madan, the Vice Principal expressed her gratitude for his presence and acknowledged the invaluable insights he would bring to the students during the workshop.

 The session concluded with an atmosphere of inspiration and a collective eagerness to apply the newfound knowledge on the journey ahead.


English Department organised newspaper cover page designing activity for students of Class VIII.

The students were asked to conceptualize and design the cover page of a newspaper as per their vision. Well structured, colourful and vibrant cover pages were designed by the students. The activity was curated to foster team spirit and to encourage the students to maintain a balance between aesthetics and information, making the cover page visually appealing while effectively conveying the day's top stories.

 Theme based greeting card designing activity was also conducted. Cards based on special themes that included congratulatory messages for famous poets for winning Nobel Prize, condolence card for losing a beloved etc.

The students designed heartfelt and stunning cards using subdued color palette to evoke a sense of sympathy and incorporated poignant verses from the works of the poets themselves to convey empathy.

Congratulatory cards employed lively colors such as gold and deep red to express joy and achievement.

The thoughtful design elements and carefully curated content aimed to convey empathy and celebration in equal measure.
