Report on Maths Week Celebration – Primary Department

The Primary Department celebrated Maths Week from 20 July to 24 July 2026 with a series of engaging, creative, and hands-on activities designed to nurture mathematical thinking, creativity, logical reasoning, and an appreciation for the beauty of Mathematics.

20 July 2026 – Maths Newsletter Competition | Class 5 

The competition encouraged research skills, mathematical communication, and creative expression in students.

21 July 2026 – Symmetrical Art Competition | Class 4 

The Symmetrical Art Competition enabled Class 4 students to explore the fascinating concept of symmetry through colourful and creative artwork. 

22 July 2026 – 2-D Scenery Competition | Class 3 

This competition helped students identify and apply their knowledge of basic geometric shapes while developing spatial understanding and artistic creativity.

23 July 2026 – Mathematical Poem | Class 4 

The Mathematical Poem Activity provided Class 4 students with a unique opportunity to combine Mathematics with language and creativity. 

24 July 2026 – Compass Design | Class 5

Students used compass to create intricate geometric designs, exploring circles, patterns, precision, and symmetry.
