RED CROSS DAY

World Red Cross Day was celebrated on

8 May in Primary Department of C.R.P.F Public School Rohini, to share the principles of the International Red Cross and to honor the founder of the Red Cross, Henry Dunant, and to recognize the humanitarian values of the Red Cross. The day is also dedicated to those who are suffering from armed conflicts, natural disasters, and other crises. The theme for World Red Cross Day 2024 is "I give with joy, and the joy I give is a reward".

Students presented talks and thoughts on the Red Cross and reminded everyone present about the importance of compassion, love, affection, support and treatment. Few students shared talk on importance of basic first aid and showed how to administer basic first aid in case of an emergency. Shrum House students created awareness about the works done by Red Cross Society for  those suffering from natural disasters, armed conflicts, and other crises. The special assembly served as an opportunity to highlight the humanitarian values upheld by the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
