“World Nature Conservation Day”

A fancy dress competition for kindergarten students is a delightful event that blends creativity, fun, and learning. It provides young children with an opportunity to showcase their imaginative and expressive abilities. Our tiny tots participated in Fancy Dress Competition on the topic “World Nature Conservation Day " under the guidance of our respected principal ma'am and incharge ma'am.

The competition was judged by Ms. Ritu Tripathi parent of Ayansh Tripathi (1- Sunflowers) and Ms. Monika Jain parent of Saharsh Jain (2-Daisies). This event encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones, enhances their confidence, and promotes a sense of community and participation.




 We are thrilled to share that Saesha Gupta, a talented student from Class 8B, has achieved a remarkable feat! Her poem has been published in the prestigious NIE (Newspaper in Education) section on 9.8.2024

 REPORT ON SOCIAL SCIENCE WEEK AUGUST 2024

"Creativity is seeing what others see and thinking is what no one else ever thought."

Social Science Week was conducted from 29th July to 3rd August, 2024.A plethora of activities were organised to harness the best out of our students. Students from classes VI to XII participated with utmost zeal and enthusiasm in different activities.

The Social Science Week started with

QUIZ ON SDG GOALS was conducted on 29th July 2024.The young minds went through a series of rounds of brainstorming and with each House team putting their best foot forward. Quiz helped to recapitulate different SDG goals through the medium of a knowledgeable quiz.

BUSINESS PLAN PRESENTATION

An interhouse competition for designing an innovative business plan was conducted on 2nd August for classes XI and XII. The students presented their ideas in form of a PowerPoint Presentation. All the houses performed well and exhibited their creativity.

WALL MAGAZINE

 A vibrant Wall Magazine competition was conducted on 2nd August 2024, aiming to inspire creativity, teamwork, and deeper comprehension of Social Science themes among students. Participants enthusiastically crafted visually appealing and informative boards on topic Good Health and Well-being SDG Goal- 3. The competition concluded with a display of all entries, and top teams were appreciated for their outstanding efforts.

POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

An interesting interhouse poster making competition was conducted on 3rd August, 2024.Students of class VI and VII participated in this competition. They exhibited their imagination, creativity and artistic skills to portray SDG goal -13 Climate Action. The works of art of each student had an element of uniqueness and reflected like a kaleidoscope of vivid colours.

AD MAD

AD MAD interhouse competition was conducted on 3rd August, 2024.In this competition our young minds came to present their unique products that exhibited the idea of Affordable clean energy SDG goal-7

Students of class VIII participated with great zeal and enthusiasm promoting their products through catchy jingles and tag lines, product logo and much more endorsing their product. As young mascots students did their best towards a cleaner and better tomorrow.

We whole heartedly thank Principal ma'am for encouraging all and giving us an opportunity to bring out the best in our students.









 

 CLASS 5C SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

Good health bears a good mind ,

Good character bears a humble person ,

Filled with love, peace and passion .


On 3rd August, class 5C of Primary Department celebrated their special assembly "Good Health And Well Being" based on SDG - 3. It was a meaningful assembly with 100% participation of the class .


The special assembly began with news and thought. Students presented poems and talks on ways to good health and wellness.A few students shared tips on some effective ways that help us to improve our well being. The assembly concluded with whole class presenting 'सेहत के दोहे' that was a collective effort of students to make everyone realise that Good Health And Well Being is the most essential part of our life. The special assembly gave students a platform to showcase their talent and hone their creative skills.










We are delighted to announce that the outstanding artwork of Kartik Saini, a student of Class XI-C, has been selected for publication in today's edition (6th August 2024) of the Times of India's Newspaper in Education (NIE).



Glad to inform that students of our school, Sukrit Jain and Shivam Verma, of class VIII B secured FIRST position in Ebrochure making competition- “India a hub of opportunities” which was held at DAV Pushpanjali.

Tushar Atri of Class VIII C has secured the 2nd position in the Sanskrit Shlok Gaayan (संस्कृत श्लोक गायन) Competition held at GD Goenka, Sector 13, on 3rd August 2024.

Anushka Jaiswal (XE) and Avinash (IX E) bagged 1st Position in Hindi Samvad (संवाद) Competition held at GD Goenka, Sector 13, on 3rd August 2024.



*Career Counselling Session for Class 10 students*

 School hosted an insightful career counselling session specifically designed for Class 10 students. The session aimed to guide students as they prepare to make crucial decisions about their future academic and career paths.

The event featured a panel of experienced career counsellors and professionals who discussed a wide range of careers, highlighting the importance of choosing subjects in higher secondary education that align with students' interests and strengths. They provided valuable insights into the diverse opportunities available within the science stream, including engineering, medicine, pure sciences, etc.

This session was a valuable experience for our Class 10 students. It equipped them with the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed decisions about their future. We are grateful to our Principal Ma'am, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary for her valuable guidance and support.
