“Think before you click, stay alert, and keep your digital world safe!”
CRPF Public School, Rohini, organised an informative and engaging Cyber Crime and Cyber Security Awareness Session for the students of Class VIII on 22 October 2026. The session was conducted by Advocate Mamta Shukla and graced by the presence of special guests, Mrs Pooja Negi and Mrs Kavita Dhar.
During the session, Advocate Mamta Shukla sensitised students to various cyber threats, including phishing, image morphing, fake job offers, and online financial scams. She highlighted the importance of protecting personal information, avoiding suspicious links, and refraining from sharing OTPs, PINs, passwords, or banking details with strangers. She also informed students about the helpline number 1930 for reporting financial cyber fraud.
The interactive session emphasised that responsible online behaviour, alertness, and digital awareness are essential for staying safe in today's technology-driven world. It empowered students with practical knowledge to recognise potential cyber threats and adopt safe digital practices.
The session proved to be a valuable learning experience, reinforcing the message that cybersecurity begins with awareness and responsible action.
Heartfelt gratitude is extended to our respected Principal Ma'am, Mrs Nidhi Chaudhary, for taking this valuable initiative to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
