The spirit of a nation lives in the hearts of those who cherish its freedom, honour its sacrifices, and carry its dreams forward.
The spirit of patriotism and national pride came alive at CRPF Public School, Rohini, as Shradha House conducted a special morning assembly on the occasion of Independence Day. The programme was a vibrant celebration of India’s freedom, unity, diversity and rich cultural heritage.
The programme commenced with a soulful rendition of 'Vande Mataram', followed by the melodious choir performance 'Sat Rangi Rango Sa', highlighting India’s rich diversity and unity.
A heartfelt Hindi patriotic poem paid tribute to the nation and stirred feelings of national pride. The thought-provoking skit 'Tiranga Kuch Kehta Hai' brought alive the significance of the Tricolour and the values represented by its colours and the Ashoka Chakra. The programme culminated in the mesmerising semi-classical and classical fusion dance 'Chiranjeevi Jayatu Bharatam', celebrating the timeless spirit of India.
The special assembly was not merely a celebration of Independence Day but also a meaningful reminder of the sacrifices that secured our freedom and the responsibility that rests upon every citizen to uphold the values of unity, courage, peace and progress. The programme concluded with the proceedings being handed over to Shaurya House for the Investiture Ceremony, marking a seamless transition from celebrating national pride to honouring the spirit of leadership and responsibility.
