Poshan Sangam 2.0-swaad-e-sehat ki dastaan in alignment with Developmental Goal
1- Good health and well-being (NCF-FS)
Classes: KG
to 2nd
Poshan
Sangam Project was taken up to create awareness among children about nutritious
diet, encourage healthy eating habits and understand basic hygiene practices.
Children of
class KG actively participated in sorting activity of healthy and unhealthy
food. This activity aimed to differentiate between healthy and junk food. Show and tell activity was also conducted
wherein our tiny tots spoke about their favourite fruit/vegetable.
Class 1
students prepared a meal plan, in which they planned their nutritious meals in
advance to ensure that the body receives all the essential nutrients required
for growth and well-being.
Class 2
students participated in Salad making activity. This activity provided a hands
- on learning experience where they explored different fruits and vegetables
used in making healthy salads. They also learned about the hygiene practices. They
also drew a healthy plate.
The Poshan
Sangam Project helped enhance students’ communication skills, creativity,
confidence, and social participation. It encouraged children to make better
food choices for a healthy body and mind.
