On April 22, 2024, CRPF Public School, Rohini, commemorated Earth Day with fervor and dedication across all three wings. Each wing organized unique activities and presentations to raise awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability.
Pre-Primary Wing:
Class II Daffodils initiated the day with a special assembly featuring a skit on saving Earth and a melodious song performed by the Choir group. The entire pre-primary wing took a pledge to safeguard the Earth for a better tomorrow. Children engaged in various activities, including creating Earth-themed crowns, going on nature walks, and dressing in blue attire to symbolize the Earth's oceans. Class KG made miniature Earths on paper plates, while Class I students crafted posters, and Class II participated in a craft activity using cut-outs of handprints.
Primary Wing:
Shakti House of the primary wing commenced their Earth Day assembly with inspirational songs and a Hindi poem highlighting the importance of environmental protection. A skit underscored the urgency of combating pollution and adopting eco-friendly practices. Students pledged to make a positive difference and learned about practical measures to conserve the environment. Ms. Vandana, the Primary Incharge, emphasized the responsibility of every individual towards nature, echoing the sentiment that to survive, humanity must protect its habitat.
Senior Wing:
The auspicious morning of Earth Day saw the senior wing, orchestrated by Shrum House, delivering a poignant discourse on Earth's significance. A soul-stirring poem and musical performances celebrated the Earth's magnificence and resilience. A skit titled “हमारी धरती हमारी जिम्मेदारी” highlighted the imperative of environmental conservation. The Vice Principal, Mrs. Beena Sri Kumar administered a solemn pledge towards environmental stewardship, urging unity and commitment.
