VAN MAHOTSAV CELEBRATION BY THE STUDENTS OF PRE PRIMARY

 Van Mahotsav week is celebrated in the first week of July to spread awareness about the need to

conserve forests. Students of pre-primary department celebrated the same , they were made aware

about the meaning of van mahotsav, the need to take care of the mother earth. Students engaged in

plethora of activities like poster making, thumb printing, leaf printing. They were also made familiar

with edible parts of different plants and shared information about medicinal plants followed by an

activity where children showed plants growing in their balcony / on terrace. A video on Chipko

movement was shown and respects were paid to the late Sunder Lal Bahuguna. Deforestation is a big

menace, students were made aware about it.A virtual assembly was also held . Songs on trees were

sung and stories जंगल की सैर were narrated, students enjoyed and pledged to plant more trees.









National Doctors' Day Class VII - B 1st JULY 2021


 _*'A doctor is bestowed with the eye to see and treat weakness in mankind.'*_ 
National Doctors' Day is celebrated every year on July 1 in order to show gratitude to those doctors who have selflessly aided people in their time of need and tirelessly worked for the health of their patients. Since the Covid-19 pandemic has struck the importance of doctors has been realised worldwide. 

On this occasion we pay tribute to *Anandibai Gopalrao Joshi* (31 March 1865 – 26 February 1887).
She was one of the first Indian female doctor of western medicine,  alongside Kadambini Ganguly.She was the first woman from the erstwhile Bombay presidency of India to study and graduate with a two-year degree in western medicine in the United States. 

Students of class VII B prepared posters and orated speeches remembering Anandibai Gopalrao Joshi and thanking the selfless doctors of our country.

WORLD DAY AGAINST CHILD LABOUR 12TH JUNE 2021 CLASS VII

  “A child is meant to learn, not to earn.” 

The International Labour Organization (ILO) launched the World Day Against Child Labour in 2002 to focus attention on the global extent of child labour and the action and efforts needed to eliminate it. The reason June 12 is marked as World Day Against Child Labour is to bring attention to the problem of child labour and to find ways to eradicate it or fight against it. The day is used to spread awareness about the harmful mental and physical problems faced by children forced into child labour, around the world. In order to spread this awareness, students of class VII participated in preparing posters, presented their thoughts during class assembly and shared information on the same.

A team activity was conducted during English class as a  task related to English communication.

The News room was brought live in the class room through vibrant presentations made by the students of class VIII.

The topics were related to ongoing health concerns /CBSE Exam cancellation /dirty drinking water.

Students brought up well - supplied and educative content.  Interesting and captivating exhibit gave  the students a heuristic experience.

Yoga is the dance of every cell with the music of every breath that creates inner serenity and harmony. International Yoga Day 2021, observed on June 21 this year to highlight the importance of Yoga and the pivotal role it plays in rejuvenating our mind and the body, leading to a healthier lifestyle.


The students of class 6C and 6D presented a special assembly on International Day of Yoga on 26th June 2021.

The anchors w/of the assembly were Swastik and Khanak

The day started with the prayer “ Tune humein Utpann kia and Gayatri Mantra” sung by Bushra

Followed by the prayer were thought of the day and news updates by Ishaan and Sonakshi

The audience was then asked to switch on the camera to perform a warm up session by Shristi, Ginishka, and Unnati

                        

After the warm up session , the logo of International Day of Yoga was explained by  Aarav Mamodia

World Day against Child Labour

“Let there be books instead of tools in the little hands”

 


Child labour is a menace that the always evolving world still has to deal with. Owing to the pandemic, there has been an increase in child labour across the world. June 12 is also celebrated as World Day against Child Labour to raise awareness regarding the detrimental consequences of the same. 

In order to sensitize everyone on this most relevant social issue, the students of Class 8 conducted a special assembly on the World day against Child Labour. The assembly started with the morning prayer followed by the news headlines and the thought for the day. They enacted a story on the issue of child labour with a clarion call to stop this.

The students presented posters and recited poems appealing to the audience to raise their voice against child labour. They urged their fellow friends to raise objection if they themselves witness any form of child labour in their neighborhood. 

The assembly concluded with the students taking a pledge to raise their voice against this crime of child labour.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION - CLASS VIII

‘Let us plant more trees and make our Earth green and clean’

 

Earth is the only beautiful planet where life exists. On this Earth Day, let’s take a pledge to make this lovely planet more adorable.

Earth Day is observed on April 22 around the world. It is about raising awareness about the importance of protecting our planet and taking action.

CRPF Public School also celebrated Earth Day with a myriad of fun filled activities. The students of Class VIII did their own bit while staying at home amidst the COVID 19 lockdown. They took the initiative of planting a sapling each and many of them made posters wherein they painted their thoughts on nature conservation. These activities helped students assimilate simply yet clearly that our natural resources are limited and we desperately need to use them judiciously.

 

The students were sensitized about the importance of saving environment and were told about the importance of trees and recycling. They took a pledge to keep their environment clean and plant more trees.

🕮 NATIONAL READING DAY CELEBRATED IN PRE PRIMARY DEPARTMENT


On National Reading Day 2021, students of pre-primary department touch based with the magic of reading. In their respective classes, teachers gave a presentation on why the day is celebrated, after which a story telling session was organised. With reading, spoken language also improves, so students shared their favourite stories and spoke a few lines on their favourite story character. 

In the library class students read the story screen- shared by the teacher,  followed by a discussion on new words, pronunciation of unfamiliar words etc. Tiny tots engaged in a picture reading session with cues given by the library teacher.

👪 PRE-PRIMARY DEPARTMENT CELEBRATING FATHER'S DAY

 The special occasion of Father's Day is about celebrating fatherhood and   telling your fathers how much you love them. Students of classes kg, I and II indulged in many activities and involved their fathers in the same. They made greeting cards for their fathers, wrote thank you notes for them. In a presentation, teachers encouraged the children to make sure that every day is father's day and they must help their dads however possible. Some tips were also shared with the fathers on how they could be more actively involved in household work, setting an example for their kids. It concluded with 'Happy Father's Day!' wishes to all doting dads.





📚 WORLD BOOK DAY CELEBRATION - PRE-PRIMARY DEPARTMENT

 Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are


On World Book Day , the Pre-Primary Department dived into the world of interesting stories. 

Students were encouraged to read story books and parents were also requested to read stories to their children regularly. Also, story-telling presentation was carried out.

All the students engaged in a bookmark making activity as they made colourful bookmarks using materials they had at home. 

'When I'm reading, I'm succeeding...' 

Children loved swaying on the reading song played by the teachers during the class.

The  day also marks the English Language Day 

The tongue twisters was yet another activity enjoyed by the learners. It not only made them enhance their pronunciation and speech but also added jocularity to the online sessions. Moreover the language enrichment activity  , integrated with Art made children showcase their talent with clarity and poise.

World Book Day 📖 - PRIMARY

 

is celebrated every year worldwide on 23rd April to increase awareness towards the importance of books in our lives. 

Students of Primary Department and Pre-Primary celebrated World Book Day 📚 📖 📚 

Learning process should be holistic, enjoyable and engaging. The careful covering of stories in Library classes encourages the child's curiosity, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills. Reading books also enables explanation of various concepts/facts and help uplift student's vocabulary.

📍The theme of World Book Day 2021 is ' Share a Story ' 

Studies reveal that storytelling can dramatically help in improving a child's speaking skills and also help building up his/her confidence.

 We have not inherited this earth from our forefathers; we have borrowed it from our children.

Owing this in mind the students of 12A celebrated the EARTH DAY will zeal and enthusiasm and asserted their determination to save it for our future generations. Started way back in 1970 in USA, the Earth Day went on to become the world event wherein various stakeholders collaborate their efforts to save the Mother Earth from disaster caused by the unfathomable greed and lust of mankind for more.

Eco club of CRPF Public School Rohini , involved students in many different activities ,  students made beautiful posters depicting their thoughts, shared videos showing how man’s greed has destroyed earth , fancy dress , planting trees , segregating wastes , making beautiful artifacts using waste material , writing poems and essays and sharing what each one of us can do to improve quality of life

EARTH DAY 22nd April 2021 CLASS VII

 

Earth Day is a yearly occasion celebrated far and widely on 22nd April to show support for environmental protection. 

First time, the world earth day was celebrated in the year 1970 and is now celebrated every year on a global premise by around 192 nations.


On this day, to spread awareness and to make our Earth a better place, students of class VII prepared posters, recited poems, and planted trees. It is an initiative so as to indulge every individual to make this day a triumph and save our planet.

CLASS VI_EARTH DAY CELEBRATION_22nd APRIL 2021

 LET US RESTORE OUR EARTH 

The students of class VI celebrated Earth Day with a medley of educational and fun activities . They were informed ahead about the importance of Earth Day and then through myriad conservation- related activities were planned. Students 

made posters showing how can we can save our Mother Earth. The students were told to either find or write an appropriate slogan for the occasion.


 Go- Green " initiative was taken to engage the learners of class VI in making a difference.

Students adopted a sapling, gave it a name and gathered important information regarding the plant. Discussion on 

importance of afforestation, planting of trees and the need for everyone to put together their efforts and get into action became a significant part of the celebration. 

 EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING ACTIVITY OF NATURE WALK IN THE BACKYARD OR COURTYARD 

 Our students looked around their surroundings for artistic inspiration from nature walks, they  collected objects to be included in a piece of art, such as pieces of bark, dried leaves, seed pods or sticks. They crafted various items and brought up their creativity in the most wondrous manner. 

Students were made aware of various ecosystems and the multifold weather conditions. 

Students made dry flowers tiara,  dry seeds bracelet  , colourful badges using vegetable colours creative sheet based on nature walk . 

 INTEGRATION OF EARTH DAY WITH SCIENCE :

Students were asked to take a closer look at leaves, their characteristics, and how they can be used to identify plants. 

 INTEGRATION OF EARTH DAY WITH MATH :

Students were asked to  measure trees in different ways to get familiar with a tree’s scale and structure.

STUDENTS TOOK A PLEDGE AND PLANNED A SPECIAL FUN DAY WITH THEIR SAPLING . 


 The uniqueness of this day  made students stop and to reflect so as to understand the theme of the occasion in a  better way.

On Earth Day, students of pre-primary department were made to witness the beauty of their planet through poems and  videos. 

A presentation was shown to create awareness about the little lifestyle changes that children and their parents can adopt to help save the Earth and restore mother nature. 

As we celebrated 'Earth Day, Green Day', children prepared posters and engaged in 3R-activity. By reusing old paper, children made hear gears and wall hanging. Students shared their thoughts on Earth Day. 


To conclude, children took a pledge to minimise the use of plastics, save water, save electricity, plant trees at home and do their bit to conserve the resources.

Earth Day is an annual event held on April 22 to show support for the protection of the environment and our planet. Celebrating this day promotes the understanding of important environmental issues and shows that we are part of this global mission.


The children of Primary Department celebrated this day by planting saplings at their home, writing slogans to save Earth , drawing posters , recited poems and expressed their concerns through talks .

Primary Incharge Mrs  Vandana Sehgal along with  other primary teachers discussed various environmental issues , made students realised about change in environmental conditions and global warming . Students realised the need to save Earth and discussed the solutions to conserve it .

CLASS X: SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON THE OCASSION OF RAMNAVMI

 Lord Ram, an avatar of Lord Vishnu descended on earth to kill the demon king Ravana. To celebrate  the auspicious day of Ram Navami , class 10th students organized  a special assembly on 20th april,2021

 Principal Ma’am blessed students with her invaluable words of wisdom and marked the beginning of assembly and we began the proceedings by seeking blessings through Ram stuti

It was followed  chuapayas taken from Ramayana, where students also explained their relevance in today’s world The students participated with great enthusiasm and  presented poems ,talk , dialogues and beautiful posters 

We pray to god for his blessings to heal earth and its people.








Class XII Science sections Special Assembly on Ram Navmi

 


Ramnavami is dedicated to the memory of Lord Rama.He is known as 'Maryada Purusottama' and is the emblem of righteousness. The festival commemorates the birth of Rama on the ninth day after the new moon in Sukul Paksh .

Durga Puja or Navratri is one of the most important and revered of all Hindu festivals. This Pan-Indian festival involves the ceremonial worship of Goddess Durga in nine forms spread over nine nights and is celebrated in different ways across various parts of India..

To celebrate this auspicious day on 20th April 2021. The students and teachers of class 12 D and E gathered in the morning. The students participated with great enthusiasm. The assembly began with a prayer followed by guidelines by Vichita ma’am. We celebrated the day with melodious chaupayi, speech and percussion. Motivational words by Amarjeet ma’am marked the end of the assembly.

IX SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON RAMNAVMI

 

This Ram Navami, light the inner light! Get rid of all the worries, and bring yourself in the present moment; be content and happy and leave the grudges from the past. Spread smiles, spread love! Let happiness be widespread and unlimited.

With this motto class IX celebrated ram navmi with a special assembly on 20th April, 2021 where students sang Ram bhajans, recited poem on shri Ram , shlokas with their meanings and also discussed the lessons learnt from shri Ram life and incorporate it in their personal lives.




WORLD HERITAGE DAY CELEBRATION (Primary Department- III, IV, V )

 

Heritage is our legacy from the past, what we live with today, and what we pass on to future generations. Our cultural and natural heritage are both irreplaceable sources of life and inspiration. Every year, World heritage day is celebrated on 18th April .


To acquaint the children with heritage sites of India and their relevance, students of primary department were informed about 38 Indian heritage sites recognised by UNESCO. Children made collages of different cultural and natural heritage sites of India. Famous classical dance form of Kathakali and some famous monuments were depicted by students in art class. Children spoke about  importance of heritage day, respecting and preserving our rich culture during class assemblies.
