CRPF Public School, Rohini held a workshop by DLSA.legal literacy campaign on Cyber Wellness on 29th April, 2019 for the students of class 9.
The school principal Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary welcomed the speakers Ms. Avani Bansal, an advocate in the Supreme Court of India and founding partner of Avani Bansal Chambers, and Mr. Abhinav, an advocate practicing in the Supreme Court of India and an alumnus of Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.
The speakers made the students aware about how to protect oneself and other internet users from harmful online behavior. They focused on how you can create, promote and enjoy a healthy and safe cyber environment.
Ms. Avani enlightened the students about possible threats of e-frauds, online banking frauds, cyber bullying, etc. She pointed out that inappropriate use of internet is a major issue with students.
She explained the safe use of social media, online shopping, internet games, etc. The workshop acted as an eye opener for everyone and would help in enabling the students to have a favourable impact with regard to the cyber safety of our society.
