Orientation Program for Parents and Students of Class- XI

An orientation programme cum career guidance seminar was organised for class 11 students and their parents on 20th April 2019. The concerned parents and eager students came in huge numbers. The session was commenced by Mrs Rajul Tiwari, School counselor who abridged the gathering by highlighting various aspects of multiple streams offered in class 11 for the students. She also talk about the pros and cons of each and every stream. The guest speaker Mr Satinder Singh professional career counsellor in his impactful oration talked about multifarious fields in each and every stream how to complete for entrance entrance exams etc.and emphasised on SWOT analysis to introspect oneself.

The program was culminated by Mrs Uma Mudgal ,Vice Principal .She gave the examples of ex-students facing problems after opting wrong streams for themselves and the challenges they faced.

She appealed to the parents not to impose their wishes on their ward but to give freehand to them to select what they desire to do and not what the parents want them to do.

In the end the students and their parents met the new class teachers and coordinators and interacted with them. Ms Anuradha and Mr DVS Rawat were also there to guide students and parents and help them in selecting stream.
