On 22nd April Earth day is
celebrated worldwide in order to create awareness among people to save earth. The
children of CRPF Public School Rohini also celebrated Earth Day with great zeal
and enthusiasm and many activities were held in the school starting from
primary up till class 8. Students were
sensitized towards the harmful effects of cutting trees and were told to plant more and more
trees. A competition was conducted from class VI to VIII to make paper bags out
of old newspapers and were told to distribute them to
local shopkeepers to ban the use of plastic bags. The photos of the event are
