Workshop on Implementing Recommendations of NCF and NEP

Date 30-6-25

CRPF Public School, Rohini, recently organized an insightful workshop for teachers focusing on the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF). The session was graced by Mr. Lucky Puchhrat, Founder of Mavericks India Solution, as the guest speaker.

Mr. Puchhrat, known for his unique ability to draw parallels between Eastern philosophies—including Hindu mythology—and Western management practices, inspired the audience with his thought-provoking insights. His address aimed to empower educators by helping them understand the deeper meaning and historical context of NEP and NCF.

He elaborated on the eight key recommendations of NEP and the seven core suggestions of NCF, while stressing the need for a learner-centric, inclusive, and progressive education system. He delved into various types of pedagogies and clearly explained the difference between pedagogy (teacher-led learning) and andragogy (adult self-directed learning).

Highlighting the importance of scaffolding—the concept of “holding the hands of learners” through guided support—Mr. Puchhrat emphasized the need to instill the what, how, and why of learning in every student.

Bringing mythology into modern education, he drew compelling examples from the Mahabharata—explaining why Lord Krishna chose Arjuna to receive the Gita Gyaan, stating that the Gita, being an embodiment of Saraswati (knowledge), was meant for one whose mind was ready to expand. He also cited the story of Lord Rama not healing Laxman instantly, underscoring the importance of undergoing a process—highlighting that there are no shortcuts to true learning and growth.

The workshop concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among educators, who left with practical tools, spiritual reflections, and a stronger commitment to implementing the recommendations of NEP and NCF in their classrooms.
