Bagless Day ( Primary
Department)
Theme -- Honoring our Roots
Date -- April 19, 2025.
In alignment with the National Education Policy's vision of
experiential learning, students of Primary Department enjoyed 'Bagless Day '
with the theme ' Honoring our Roots'. The day was designed to help students
connect with India's cultural and historical heritage through storytelling,
art, music, games, and food -- all without textbooks.
It was pure fun participating in Indian traditional game '
Lagori ' which is played using seven stones. This activity brought highest
level of excitement, teamwork and a glimpse into India's rich play culture.
Music class introduced students to Raag Vrindavani Sarang, sparking curiosity
about classical Indian music.
In language classes, students enjoyed an engaging narration
of traditional folk tales. The stories were interactive and conveyed moral
values in a fun way. They also shared their thoughts on ' What makes India
special?' They talked about cultural diversity, multilingualism, landmarks,
monuments, food and cuisine, and natural beauty. In Hindi class, students loved
to compose poems.
Students of class 3 in Maths class presented the data using
Tally Marks.This activity helped students to build foundational skills in data
handling, counting, and organization. It helped them relate math in daily life.
Students of classes 4 and 5 created
beautiful Kolam designs appreciating the traditional art form.
ATL visit for students of class 3 was both educational and
fun, providing students with a glimpse into the world of innovation and
technology.
In EVS, students of class 4 learnt about traditional Indian
food, their ingredients and health benefits. A small tasting session was also
conducted. Students of class 5 made greeting cards/ drawings using turmeric
paste and soap solution. They were amazed to see the magic of writing with soap
solution on paper coated with turmeric paste and changing of colour from yellow
to red. They were told the principle behind the magic that how turmeric being
an indicator changes color from yellow to red on coming in contact with soap
solution, which is a base.
In Value Education class, children expressed gratitude to
God for all the blessings they have in their lives.
It was a joyful and enriching experience for everyone as it
helped to nurture creativity, collaboration and a deeper connection to our
roots.

World Heritage Day inspires us to explore our roots and celebrate our global unity.
To mark this day and raise
awareness among the students about the importance of preserving our rich
cultural and historical heritage, a special assembly was conducted in
Pre-Primary department by Class 1 on 17 th April,2025.
The assembly commenced with the
morning prayer, followed by the news headlines and thought of the day.
A beautiful poem was then recited
by students celebrating the timeless glory of Indian heritage.
The students gave an engaging
presentation on our heritage sites like Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Hampi etc. They
spoke passionately about importance of protecting our heritage for future
generations. They highlighted effective and meaningful ways to preserve them.
To conclude, the students shared
powerful slogans that echoed the message of the day:
“Preserve the past, protect the
future,
Don't let our heritage fade -
let's protect what our ancestors made".
Pre -Primary Incharge, Ms.Hema
Batra addressed the students and emphasized the importance of preserving our
national heritage. She encouraged them to respect and protect monuments by not
scribbling on walls or littering at historical sites. She also motivated the
children to explore India’s rich cultural legacy by visiting heritage sites
during their vacations.
The assembly was both informative
and inspiring, reminding everyone that our heritage is not just about
monuments—it's our identity and pride and we all have to take a collective responsibility
to conserve our priceless heritage and history.
The school came alive with festive spirit on April 11, 2025, as students across the Pre-Primary, Primary, and Middle wings celebrated Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti with great enthusiasm through vibrant special assemblies.
The day began with a soulful
prayer, followed by inspiring thoughts, poems, and informative talks
highlighting the cultural and historical significance of Baisakhi as a harvest
festival and the formation of the Khalsa Panth. Ambedkar Jayanti was also marked
with reverence, shedding light on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s contributions to the
nation.
Students brought colour and joy
to the stage through melodious songs, energetic bhangra and gidda performances,
and engaging dramatizations. The Pre-Primary children brightened up the day
with their Yellow Day activities, floury shadow art, and joyful song and poem
recitations. Primary students crafted kites and posters, while the Middle wing
added depth through informative presentations and lively cultural items.
A special prize distribution
ceremony was also held to honour winners of the Valour Day Art Competition and
international achievements, instilling a sense of pride and patriotism.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to
our respected Principal, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary, for her constant support and for
providing students with such enriching platforms to express their talents and
learnings.
The morning of April 9th witnessed a solemn and inspiring assembly conducted by SHRUM House students of C.R.P.F Public School, Rohini, commemorating Valour Day—a tribute to the unmatched courage and sacrifice of the CRPF jawans during the 1965 Indo-Pak conflict in the Rann of Kutch. The proceedings began with a heartfelt Hindi couplet that awakened patriotic emotions, reminding us of the love and duty we owe to our motherland.
To set the tone of the day, the young voices of our Primary
Department presented a soul-stirring patriotic song, “Hum Bharat wasi”, filling
the ambience with fervent nationalism and innocence.
The hosts, Bushra and Sonakshi of Class X, eloquently
highlighted the historical significance of Valour Day, emphasizing its essence
as a tribute to honour, duty, and fearless service. The assembly moved ahead
with a session of news headlines, shared by Vidushi of class 12E, which brought
awareness of current affairs among the students.
A powerful Thought for the Day was presented by Harmika of
class 9E, underscoring the quiet strength that defines real bravery. This was
followed by a deeply moving speech by Bhavana Sharma of class 12F, who captured
the spirit of the day with grace and conviction.
Adding to the patriotic zeal, the school choir delivered a
melodious and heartwarming patriotic song “C.R.P.F Vidyalaya Gaan”, resonating
deeply with all present.
The assembly concluded with expressions of gratitude and the
resolve to embody the spirit of valour in our own lives. Special thanks to our
respected Principal Ma’am Mrs Nidhi Chaudhary for her unwavering support and
guidance.

KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION SESSION (2025-26)
‘Every child is a different kind of flower and altogether
they make this world a beautiful garden’.
The Kindergarten Orientation programme was successfully
conducted on 24th March,2025 at CRPF Public School, Rohini. The session
commenced with a warm welcome of our young learners and their parents to the
school community. The programme aimed to familiarize them with the school’s
environment and classroom dynamics. The event began with a warm greeting by the
school Principal, Ms Nidhi Chaudhary who laid emphasis on school's core values
and importance of early childhood education and encouraged parents to be
actively involved in their child's learning journey. It was followed by
performance of students of Preprimary and Primary section who staged a
mesmerizing cultural programme. Towards the end, Ms Hema Batra, Pre Primary
incharge apprised parents through a presentation about the school
infrastructure and facilities, core KG curriculum as well as co scholastic
activities including events and competitions designed to complement academic
learning and foster holistic development & also about HPC (Holistic
Progress Card). They were given an overview of how school is focussing on
achievement of 3 development goals at Foundational stage as enlisted in Nipun
Bharat. Parents were guided on need for collaboration, highlighting the
importance of routines, healthy habits and home learning support.
Afterwards, Parents and children were taken on a guided
school tour, exploring classrooms, play areas and activity zone. Children were
engaged in innumerable fun learning activities like pattern walk, printings,
commando crawl, dancing etc and had interactive sessions with teachers, making
their first school experience enjoyable. Feedback from parents was positive,
with appreciation for the interactive approach and engaging activities.
Overall, the orientation programme successfully set the foundation for a smooth
transition and an exciting learning journey for our kindergarteners.
We are grateful to Principal ma’am for her valuable guidance, constant support and motivation for organizing this interactive session.

Happiness Period Activities in Middle School (3/4/25)
Class 6: Crunchy Salad
Class 6 students prepared a crunchy salad by arranging
nachos, chips, or Monaco biscuits and topping them with various fruits. The
objective was to promote healthy eating habits, teach basic culinary skills,
and encourage teamwork and problem-solving. Students participated
enthusiastically and enjoyed the activity.
Class 7 and Class 8 Public Speaking on Gratitude and Gratitude
Cards
Class 7 and Class 8 conducted a public speaking
activity on the topic of gratitude. The objective was to encourage students to
express appreciation and gratitude towards friends, family, or teachers.
Students enjoyed the activity, creatively expressing their ideas and
perspectives. Public speaking enhances communication skills and builds
confidence. Class 8 students also created handmade gratitude cards to express
appreciation towards friends, family, or teachers. The objective was to
encourage students to express gratitude and appreciation. Students were
creative and personalized their cards with messages, drawings, or photos, later
sharing them with the class.
