Special Assembly Class 4A
Theme -- Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG
11)
All our dreams can come true if we dare to
pursue them.
Students of class 4A with great
delight presented special assembly on SDG-11: Sustainable Cities and
Communities. As we strive for a better world, we must ensure our cities are
inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. Through a playful skit children
highlighted the key elements necessary to develop a lifestyle that is healthy,
civilized, educated, hygienic, and equipped with essential amenities. This can
be achieved through persistence and teamwork. It is crucial to take care of the
environment by keeping the Earth green, pollution-free, and plastic-free. We
must also focus on population control, evaluating natural resources, respecting
elders, and protecting our demolished heritage and monuments.
The whole class performed the melodious song
“Hum Hindustani.” A tapping dance was presented with zeal by energetic
students, while budding artists of the class displayed mesmerizing posters on
Smart Cities.
