Four teams from our school participated in the prestigious Union Bank of India U Genius 3.0 quiz Delhi City round held on August 29, 2024. Out of 400 teams in the prelims, our team, comprising Atharv Rajput (XI F) and Saswat Singh (XI E), advanced to the finals, securing a spot among the top 6. They performed exceptionally well in the finals, ultimately ranking 3rd and were awarded trophies and certificates for their outstanding achievement.




INCLUSIVE EDUCATION CLUB ACTIVITIES

Inclusive Education club has been constituted in the school as per DOE guidelines to ensure equal opportunity to all students in all educational and social activities and to help in minimizing societal and attitudinal barriers faced by Divyang students.

The following activities were conducted in the month of August on the theme --'Accepting Diversity'-

1.Mobility and orientation activities

CWSN along with their buddies enthusiastically participated in mobility and orientation activities in which students learnt to independently and safely navigate their way in the school including entry, exit and emergency evacuation.

2. Cultural and recreational activities

CWSN Students across all levels participated in vocal music and dance activities along with their peers which helped in increasing their self-confidence and led to promotion of non-discriminative barrier free environment in the school.

The English Week at CRPF Public School, Rohini, was a vibrant celebration of linguistic and literary prowess. The week-long festivities showcased the talents of students across various grades, each bringing their unique flair to the event.

The celebrations were flagged off by Principal ma'am, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary.

In a dynamic display of creativity and communication skills, Class VII students participated in an advertisement enactment competition. Their innovative presentations and persuasive pitches reflected their understanding of advertising and marketing techniques.

The students of Class VIII took their audience on an imaginative journey through the pages of their chosen books. The young authors skillfully guided listeners through their narratives, bringing the stories to life and showcasing their storytelling abilities.

*Classes IX and X – Stage Craft (English Classical Play Competition):* 22.08.24

The highlight of the week was the English classical play competition for Classes IX and X. Students delivered powerful performances, mastering complex dialogues and embodying classical characters, demonstrating their deep appreciation for English literature.

Class XI students brought a modern twist to poetry with a rap competition. The rhythmic verses and beats combined with compelling themes offered a fresh perspective on poetic expression, engaging the audience with their originality.

The week concluded with an intellectually stimulating quiz competition for Class XII students. Their quick thinking and in-depth knowledge of English literature and language were tested in this challenging event, proving their scholastic aptitude.

The English Week was a resounding success, offering students a platform to explore and express their linguistic talents, while fostering a deeper appreciation for the English language.

On the 28th of August 2024, CRPF PUBLIC SCHOOL, ROHINI organised an excursion for students from classes XI and XII of the Humanities stream to visit the Ambedkar National Memorial in Delhi. The trip was organized to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's life, his role in shaping modern India, and his enduring legacy as a champion of social justice.

Located at Dr. Ambedkar's last residence, the memorial stands as a testament to his life's work and ideals. The site has been meticulously transformed into a museum that chronicles his journey from humble beginnings to becoming the principal architect of the Indian Constitution.

The students were guided through the memorial by a knowledgeable guide who provided insights into various aspects of Dr. Ambedkar’s life and work:

The tour began with a detailed look at Dr. Ambedkar's early life, highlighting the challenges he faced due to the prevailing caste system and his determination to pursue education despite these obstacles. This resonated deeply with the students, as it underscored the importance of education in overcoming social barriers.

A significant portion of the visit focused on Dr. Ambedkar’s role in drafting the Indian Constitution. Students explored the Constitution Gallery, where they were shown original drafts, manuscripts, and documents that detailed the rigorous process of drafting the Constitution. This exhibit reinforced the lessons taught in their school courses providing real-world context to theoretical knowledge.

The memorial also highlighted Dr. Ambedkar's involvement in various social reform movements. The exhibits demonstrated his relentless efforts to combat caste-based discrimination and his advocacy for the rights of the marginalized. This provided a profound understanding of the complexities of Indian society and the role of reformers in driving social change.

The students were also shown personal items belonging to Dr. Ambedkar, including his books, clothing, and other memorabilia. These artifacts helped humanize the iconic figure, offering students a glimpse into his personal life.

The trip to the Ambedkar National Memorial was a significant educational experience for the students. It not only enriched their understanding of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s monumental contributions to Indian society but also inspired them to think critically about the role of individuals in shaping history. The visit was a perfect blend of learning, reflection, and inspiration, leaving a lasting impact on all.









Ruchi Gaur of the 2023-2024 batch has brought great honour to the school by securing a prestigious seat in the MBBS programme at Maulana Azad Medical College.

CRPF Public School, Rohini, celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great fervor and patriotism from 13th to 15th August, 2024

The celebrations commenced on 13th August with a special assembly featuring a variety of patriotic performances by students. Heartfelt poetry recitations, a captivating orchestral medley, and a melodious choir performance ignited the spirit of nationalism among the students. The Principal's inspiring address emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters and encouraged students to contribute positively to the nation's growth. The Principal seized the opportunity to address the gathering, highlighting the significance of Independence Day and emphasizing the importance of the ‘Nasha Mukti Abhiyan’.

The culmination of the celebrations took place on 15th August with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony. The school principal led the ceremony, accompanied by staff members. The national anthem was sung with great enthusiasm as the tricolor fluttered proudly in the morning sky. The hostel students were actively involved in the ceremony, singing a patriotic song in chorus and showcasing their enthusiasm through dance performances.

The three-day celebration fostered a strong sense of patriotism and unity among the students and staff, reinforcing the values of freedom, sacrifice, and national pride.

On August 14, 2024, 644 students from classes 6 to 12, all subscribers of NIE (Newspaper in Education) - Times of India, embarked on an exciting movie outing to watch the film 'Kalki' at Movietime Pitampura. Accompanied by their teachers, the students had an amazing time enjoying the movie and each other's company. The event was a resounding success, with students thoroughly enjoying the film and the camaraderie. It was a day well-spent, offering our students a much-needed opportunity to unwind and have fun beyond their regular academic schedule.

PRE-PRIMARY AND PRIMARY DEPARTMENT (KG-V)

To commemorate 78th Independence Day of India our tiny tots and young learners showcased their patriotism and pride for the nation through their class assembly activities. Classrooms echoed with the resonating voices of students reciting patriotic poems and slogans paying homage to the sacrifices made by those who fought for our independence. The students, dressed in the vibrant colours of the nation – green, white and saffron presented a melodious choir 'Salutation to Mother Land'. Students created colorful kites and recited patriotic poems. Cultural activities like song, dance, various art and craft activities like poster, collage making and talk on  national symbols and freedom fighters were undertaken.

A video on freedom fighters was showcased to our tiny patriots on our nation's history. The day served as a reminder of the values of freedom, unity and democracy that form the foundation of our country.






CLASS 5D SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

Theme - WATER CONSERVATION

Highlighting SDG GOAL 6- Clean Water and Sanitation,
the students of CLASS 5D presented a special assembly on the theme Water Conservation. There was 100 % participation of 5D students.

Students tried to spread awareness about the importance and use of water, causes of water pollution, steps to save water etc through poems, talk, thought of the day, news, dance, Song, quiz on the above theme. The assembly was educational and informative.

Report on workshop attended by students of class X and XI at DTU

6 students of CRPF Public school, Rohini namely Kashvi Kansal, Priya Yadav, Rishabh Kundra, Divyang Tiwari, Rajveer Singh Sindhu, and Ayush Rana attended a workshop of six days organised by 'The Center for Extension and Field Outreach Cell of Delhi Technology University' on the topic Exploring Engineering. The main fields of engineering explained during this workshop were Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering Information Technology and Design.

Digital storage oscilloscope was provided to the students to understand the concept of different waves and wavelength etc.

On a bagless day with the theme 'Bravery ', students of classes 3 - 5 were engaged in a plethora of inspirational activities aimed at instilling courage and resilience. Teachers recounted immortal tales of valour and sacrifice, shedding light on the heroic deeds of Param Vir Chakra awardees.

The day's activities echoed the spirit of bravery through various channels.

In English class, role play was organised where students acted out scenarios requiring bravery. A quiz on bravery challenged the students to test their knowledge and understanding of what it means to embody courage. They delved into famous slogans of freedom fighters drawing inspiration from the powerful words of those who fought fearlessly for a noble cause. In Maths, class students made 3D models of hurdles that are used during training of soldiers like pipes and peaks. They also wrote about courageous things we can do and composed poems in Hindi. Eco warriors raised awareness about environmental issues.

The day served as a reminder that within each of us lies potential for remarkable acts of courage and through collective effort we can overcome obstacles and make a positive impact on the world around us.
