Health check-up camp and workshop on 'Health and lifestyle management of children'

Day 1 ---17-5-2024

A health check-up camp was organised for pre-primary students (classes kg to 2) on 17^th May 2024, wherein trained nursing staff from Maharaja Agrasen visited to do health check-up of students in school premises.

Day 2----18-5-2024

Workshop on ' Health and Lifestyle management of children' was organised for parents along with free medical check-up for parents and consultation by expert doctors from Maharaja Agrasen Hospital.

The workshop commenced with welcome of esteemed guests from Maharaja Agrasen Hospital ------ Sh. Praveen Gupta, General Secretary, Dr Deepak Singla, Medical Director, Dr. Tanveer Halgale and Dr. Smitha by respected Principal ma'am, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary.

The guest speakers highlighted the importance of healthy and balanced diet as well as role of healthy food habits for children. The focus was on promoting overall well-being, preventing lifestyle-related diseases, and fostering healthy habits from a young age.

Benefits of regular physical activity for children and limiting screen time by engaging them in alternative healthier options was emphasized.

The workshop on Health and Lifestyle Management of Children in School was a significant step towards promoting healthier lifestyles among children. By equipping educators and parents with the necessary knowledge and tools, the workshop aimed to create a supportive environment that nurtures the physical health and well-being of students.

The workshop received positive feedback from attendees. Many appreciated the practical advice and interactive nature of the sessions.
