Workshop on Fostering Inclusive Learning through Gender Sensitisation

A workshop on the topic - 'Gender Sensitisation' was organized for teachers on 27-4-24.

The workshop commenced with the welcome of guest speaker by Principal ma'am, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary. 

The guest speaker, Ms. Arpita Mukherjee apprised the teachers about gender biases and stereotypes and suggested various strategies to promote gender equality in the classroom. The session focused on practical approaches for integrating gender- sensitive practices into teaching methods and curriculum transaction.

Examples of inclusive teaching materials and activities were shared to empower teachers to create more supportive learning environments.

The workshop helped in enhancing awareness and understanding and concluded with a reflection on role of educators to create a more equitable and inclusive learning environment.
