Dear reader,
March is almost here. And so is the dreaded season.
While the levels of tensions, stress and frustration are on an all time high,
no one can deny the immense power of a simple smile and a simple "Good
luck. I know you will do well" in curbing the exam stress.
Students, parents and teachers please do watch our
respected Principal Sir Sh. H. R. Sharma today on DD National at 4.30 pm in the
show 'Good Evening India'. The theme of the program is how to cope up with
examination stress, how to prepare well for exams etc.
We are sure that it will be a great learning
experience for all of you.

ROAD SAFETY WEEK
Dear Reader,
As per the guidelines of CBSE, CRPF Public
School, Rohini, Celebrated Road Safety Week on 16th and 17th
January, 2015 . Various events were organized during these two days where many
students participated with great enthusiasm and excitement. An essay writing
competition was arranged both in English and Hindi. Many students participated
and wrote about the ways to remain safe on roads. A special Medical Check Up
camp was also put up for all the bus drivers and helpers of the school.

On 17th
January, 2015 , a special Quiz was organized where a large number of students
participated with great reverence, where they learnt a lot about road safety
methods. A Walkathon was also organized for the students where they held
posters and placards to create awareness in the surrounding area of the school.
An Art Competition was carried out for Poster Making and Slogan Writing which
were put up and used by the students during their awareness campaign.

SPECIAL WORKSHOPS FOR TEACHERS
Dear Reader,
It was
after almost a fortnight of refreshing winter break that CRPF Public School
organized two days of capacity building workshops. 13th January,
2015 saw a great and enthusiastic morning when Mr. Rakshit Tandon (Senior
Engineer in Safe Web Surfing Dept.) conducted a workshop on ways to remain safe
and secure in the virtual world. He spoke about the crimes that are carried out
with great expertise in the world of online gaming, banking and surfing.
Further, a great session for Educational cum Spiritual development was also
carried out by Mr. Jain who is a renowned speaker on spirituality of souls.
14th
January, 2015 started with a great and insightful session by a well renowned
health psychologist Dr. Jitender Nagpal who spoke about various issues of the
children & teenagers as they grow and start feeling cut out from society
and feel lonely. Further, the day went ahead with a session regarding child
abuse and sexual offences against children. A social activist and a lawyer Mr
C. S. Parasher spoke about the kind of crimes and punishments under POCSO Act.
The day ended by the words of great encouragement and motivation for the staff
members by the Principal, Mr. H. R. Sharma.

ANNUAL DAY 2014

CRPF Public
School, Rohini celebrated Annual Day, “Rainbow- A Medley of Colours” on 12th
Dec, 2014. Shri R.C.Tayal, IPS, Director General, CRPF was the chief guest and
Smt. Savi Tayal, President CWWA (CRPF’s Wife’s Welfare Association) was the
guest of honour. There were many other CRPF personnels , educationists, dignitaries
and principals of various schools, P.T.A members and parents.
ANNUAL DAY 2014 - WELCOME OF THE GUESTS
The
programme began with the lighting of the lamp. The choir group presented “Suno
Ahawan” which was followed by the School Orchestra “East meets West”. The
school Band enthralled the audience with their bagpipe and drums. The Tiny Tots
presented “All things Bright and Beautiful” which conveyed the message of love,
peace and brotherhood. “Alibaba and Forty Thieves” was the main attraction of
the evening. The ballet opened a world of enchantment, mystery, horses, and
carves wit and magic mesmerizing the audience. “Shonar Bangla” depicted the
rich cultural tradition of Bengal and included Mahishasura Mardini, Baul Dance
and Dhi- tang.
ANNUAL DAY 2014 – CULTURAL EVENTS
The
Principal Sh. H.R. Sharma presented the school Annual Report highlighting the
achievements of the students in the field of academics as well as co-scholastic
areas. The chief guest Sh. R. C. Tayal appreciated the efforts and achievements
of the students as well as the staff for putting up such a great show. The
Guest of Honour, Smt. Savi Tayal released the school Annual Magazine
“SRIJUN”. The Vice Principal, Smt. Uma
Mudgal proposed the Vote of Thanks.
