ADAPTATION PERIOD OF CLASS KG
The adaptation of the child in
second home is essential for his/her emotional, social and intellectual
development. Adaption is important to make them familiar to the things around
them and feel comfortable in the world of adventure and learning. Plethora of
activities were organised, under the guidance of our principal ma'am Ms. Nidhi
Chaudhary, to make children happy and comfortable in the school environment.
Little hands need to develop dexterity and strength, keeping this in mind
various activities for the development of fine motor skills were carried out
like- splash the world with colours, Hungry me (fill the bowl with seeds), fun
time (bindi pasting), baisakhi activity, passing the smile, Gobble the noodle,
trace the path, one minute game show (put the rolls and make a big necklace)
and clay modelling. Practising gross motor skills is equally important as it
helps children to control and coordinate their body movements. For these
activities like Crawl in the tunnel, aerobics, tapping toes, paper bag race,
Catching the ball, Bonding with partner and selfie time were carried out in
which the students participated enthusiastically. Plethora of activities like -
puppet show, feed the clown, Simon says, movie time, statue (changing actions
according to the drum beats), boogie woogie, talk show on myself, chatter box,
my secrets etc. were organised too, to develop listening and conversation
skills among students. Colour is a power which directly influences the soul and
bring positivity amongst all. Colour days were celebrated where children came
dressed up according to the colour theme of the day. They did drawing and
activities related to the colour of that particular day. Like Baishakhi was
celebrated as yellow day where students brought yellow food. This week proved
to be a perfect amalgamation of learning and fun and our young learners were
delighted. We are immensely grateful to our principal ma'am for her idea,
support and encouragement in organizing a meaningful learning experience for
students.

Celebration of Coral Jubilee
We didn't realise we were making memories. We just knew we were having fun.
Our school completed 35 years of its journey. We celebrated Coral Jubilee with exciting events and activities marking the journey our school has taken over the past 35 years. A special assembly was conducted on the PA system by the senior wing which was a mix blend of school song, prayer and orchestra. Pre primary and primary wing also presented a mesmerizing special assembly which commenced with a beautiful poem through which students expressed their happiness and excitement for this day. This was followed by a skit where the students depicted the hard work of various people who worked really hard to make our school's foundation strong and glorious. This was followed by a spectacular dance performance which added a feather to the celebration. Show and tell activity was conducted where students prepared beautiful flip books in which they highlighted the journey of their school life. Apart from this many activities like poem recitation, balloon decoration, paper craft activity, poster making etc were carried out which were enjoyed by students a lot.
