Inter
School Story Dramatization
Two
children from our school Zoya Parveen and Ninad Singh of III-B
participated and won I prize in Inter-School Story Dramatization Competition
held at DLDAV Public School, Pitampura on 26th July
2013.Many schools participated in the event but the duo lifted the prize
with their superb expressions and extraordinary narrating skills.
Interviewing
a differently abled celebrity.
Three
students from class IV and V participated in an inter-school competition at Queen
Mary School where they had to interview a differently –abled person. Mehak
Kansal(V-C) , Tanya Chugh (V-C) and Abhinav Gautam ((IV-A) whole-heartedly
participated to put up the special show titled ‘Impact Syndicate- Silver
Moments with Marlee Matlin.’
The
interviewer interviewed Marlee Matlin- the Hollywood actor who won academy
award in 2008 for best actress in the leading role for the film. ‘Children
of a lesser God’. She is the first deaf performer who won OSCAR. Mehak
Kansal (V-A) enthusiastically performed as the interviewer who interacted with
Tanya Chugh (V-C) who played the actor Marlee Matlin. Abhinav Gautam (IV-A)
participated as the interpreter who efficiently used sign language.The
performance of the team was appreciated by the judges.
Inter School Competition
A
group of 5 students of class III Zoya (III-B), Ninad(III-B),
Kartik (III-A), Nidhi (III-B) and Ananya (III-C) went to Maharaja Agrasen Model School ,
Pitampura. On 04-05-13 to participate in a drama competition-‘Cheer
on- let’s Cheer for India’ and bagged consolation prize. They were
appreciated immensely for their innovativeness and confidence by all the
judges.
